This is nice wax, but I found it a bit too hard for use on chalk paint.Though this was my first chalk paint project, so I am not a pro, but I ended up having to buy a softer wax and mix it so as not to waste it. Warming slightly might help, I used at about 65F.

It works okay. Sticky.

Used on a table, no smell, not sticky or something, good shine, made the table surface look homogenous after spray-painting.

Product went on smoothly and the 4 oz was far more than I needed to do a large chalk-painted chair, plus I got inspired and went hog wild with the furniture, cabinetry, and wood trim. Still most of the can is left. Could have done with only 2 oz but I'm a tyro at this.

I love this wax, far easier to use than traditional furniture wax, smells great, comes out of rags easily in the wash.

I really like this product. Used it after staining my wood walls in my camper van. No smell like the pricy name brand stuff.

I softened the wax by placing the can in a container with very hot water so that the wax was easier to extract. I even used an old toothbrush to get into the carving grooves. The paint was a charcoal Color but turned darker with the wax, which is exactly what I was going for. Happy with the results. Can’t wait to get the upholstery part done.
