How to use the ALL Natural Waxes

How to use Chalk Mountains Natural Waxes

After you have finely sanded and then removed any remains of the sanding process, use a wax brush or soft cloth (old bath towels work best), apply the wax to painted surface in a circular motion, making sure to get an even coat and into the corners and crevices.
Let stand for 30-40 minutes and then, using clean dry absorbent cloths, lightly wipe away excess wax from the surface, always folding your cloth so you are using a dry side to remove the excess wax. For larger pieces, you may need more than one dry cloth to effectively remove excess wax.
Allow to stand for 12-15 hours.  Now, with more dry absorbent cloths, wipe down the surface a second time, to pull off the remaining excess wax.  No need to buff our wax.  This "All Natural" wax will now dry over the next 2-3 days into a satiny semi-hard surface.  Add a second coat in the same steps, if you want to add an extra coat of protection to a wear surface.
This wax is a unique and "All Natural' blend of Tree Nut Oil, Brazilian Carnauba, Beeswax and other waxes, made to produce a slow drying/curing, and soft paste wax, easy to apply, and with no buffing necessary. Safe to use Indoors.

I used this on a couple of pieces, first an old trunk and second to an entry unit. It enriches the color of the paint and gives a wonderful glow. Easy to use and does not stink!

I painted my old dining table and 6 chairs a light gray chalk paint from a different company and used this charcoal black wax for the finish. It’s a small tub and I was worried I wouldn’t have enough but it went really far. I then painted 2 end tables and a decorative shelf, a small wicker table, and some floating shelves. I waxed all of it. And still have a little in the jar. It came out beautifully!! Was easy to use. Brushed it on. Let it dry as instructed and wiped with T-shirt scraps. Highly recommend. Great color. Easy cleanup!

Very nice furniture wax .. I purchased the black wax and really was trying to avoid paying $30 plus on a small jar . I am sure dixie bell has wonderful wax , but for this piece, I was not ready to spend that much . Needless to say it was very easy to use and high quality. It went on very smoothly and dried very nice. This was a plain toy chest that I chalk painted to look antiqued and gave a distressed farmhouse shabby chic look to it . Also I added a faux wood appliqué to the front for even more character. Overall I really like this wax and plan on purchasing more from this seller 👍..

Beautiful wax finish that is easy to apply and so far seems to be pretty durable. The only drawback is that it smells a bit rancid while applying. I may have gotten an old batch…?

So I read a lot of reviews before buying this but figured for the price what the heck. I needed black and couldn't find any in my local stores so I took a chance on this stuff. It worked great for what I needed but did take little time to perfect the look I was going for. I used the black color on three pieces of furniture I was refinishing to help give a more "antiqued" look. I actually used three different methods in applying the wax. All three pieces had been painted with white chalk paint and then had clear sealing wax rubbed onto them. I did the round end table first and did exactly as the instructions said. It came out nice, except I felt it was still too white and didn't look antiqued enough. The second item was the oval end table the the decorative top. This one I left the wax on a lot longer, like two hours and then I used my already dirty wax rag to wipe it down. It took a few times to get the wax to stay in the crevasses like I wanted. Overall I like the way this piece turned out but it was almost too "dirty" looking. So I took a smooth sanding block and blended the coloring a little more and it looks great. The third piece was a large cabinet. With this one, I used a brush to put the wax on where I wanted it and after about a minute, I used a clean rag to wipe the area off. I gently brushed wax all over the thing, going section by section and wiping it down as I went. It gave it more of a antiqued, distressed look which was exactly as I was going for. So, when you get this, make sure you know that you may have to play around with your method a little to get the look you want. I will definitely be ordering this again as needed for other colors.

I am very impressed with the communication of this seller/company. They promptly answered my inquiries and when the wrong color was shipped by mistake (ended up being beautiful anyhow), not only was I shipped out a replacement, they also said they'd send a promo code with the replacement. That being said, this wax is stunning. I'm very new at using wax on furniture and this stuff glides on like butter. Granted, it has been hot outside, it is far easier to apply than the other brand I tried first. I'm so excited to use these on so many more pieces. So far I've tried the bronze and it is just so beautiful. I will be a lifetime customer for sure! I'd give 10 stars if I could (and not that I'm difficult to please, I give a lot of thought to my reviews because I feel it's important to be specific for the sake of other buyers) sure there was a mistake, but mistakes happen and when someone goes that far out of the way to remedy that, it said so much. Even after I said to not worry about it. Thank you so much

I like that the product is pretty natural and didn’t have any strong fumes. I purchased the white wax and I was expecting it to remain in the crevices when I wiped. I even let the wax sit for 45 minutes before buffing. It didn’t have any staying power and hardly any remained no matter what I tried. I will stick with the AS for my white wax .
