Covers well, it dries quickly. Can't rate the water resistant quality yet. Painted a bee box and waiting to put it outside in the spring. Doesn't go on like latex, more like a chalk paint.

Iโm a huge fan of chalk paint so I was excited to give this one a try. I didnโt notice until after I ordered it that I need to add catalyst if I want to use this paint on countertops, glass, metal or tile. Since I planned to use this product to paint the metal grating and frame for two air intake vents, it was back to Amazon I went to purchase catalyst. It took 3 tubes of catalyst to make this 16.9 oz. bottle of paint suitable for use on metal (the catalyst cost $7) which brings the true cost of 16.9 ounces of paint to $27โฆ a bit spendy in my opinion. That having been said, itโs easy to work with and has good coverage.

This chalk paint is fantastic! Itโs easy to use and provides a lovely matte finish with vibrant color. I cleaned the item first, and the paint went on smoothly with great coverage. Perfect for giving furniture or decor a refreshed look. Highly recommend for DIY projectsโitโs both beginner-friendly and delivers stunning results!

While I currently have been painting glass bottles, my passion is re-doing furniture and chalk paint is a MUST! I've tried many brands and am always on the prowl to try new ones, to find the perfect "potion" to meet my needs. This brand is pretty decent. While I always sand no matter what, I did do a test portion and unfortunately did not take any pictures as I was "in the zone"- and while the sanded side applied and looked much smoother, the unsanded side still looked great and would suffice. Chalk paint is a MUST imo on wood. Even if you layer it and use the Chalk as the base- it really makes a world of difference. I did slightly thin this with some distilled water and gave it a few good, vigorous shakes first- out of habit, but it glided on smooth and even. I tried both a bristle brush and chalk paint brush and got pretty much the same results. For the price, this is a great chalk paint to use- especially if you're just delving into the wonderous world of chalk paint. I'd buy more colors of this brand for sure. It also has a really good dry time and when layering, it sands well and doesn't chip off.

Refinished a dining room table- great adhesion and dried quickly. Seems to be wearing well and thus far would definitely use this paint product anytime I want to refinish a piece. Wish it was a little more paint for the price but if it continues to work the way itโs been I would say itโs worth its weight in gold

I love that this paint is so easy to use. Itโs a primer and paint in one, and I painted a small nightstand without the need to sand it first. Itโs thick enough to offer good coverage and the color is exactly as expected. It hasnโt leaked at all because the bottle closes tightly. For the price itโs an awesome deal, and I highly recommend it!

I'm moving out soon and I have many spots around the house that needed to be repainted. I had paint already but it would take ages to dry. I decided to try this one and I have to say, the design makes it very mess-free, the color is just as advertised, it's easy to use and apply, and I did not need to use more than one layer to actually fully repaint the areas in question. I think it's great for the price, and honestly, my experience has been quite seamless.
