Achieve professional results on any wood type, including painted, natural, dark, light, mahogany, maple and oak. You name it and this kit will fix it.
Steps: 1. Choose the color that closely matches the surface to be repaired;
2. Test it on an inconspicuous area;
3. If the color matches, then apply to the scratched area;
4. Remove any excess pigment with a dry cloth or paper towel;
5. Let the area dry. If necessary, re-apply to darken;
6. Tightly replace cap after use.
Warm Tips: - Manual measurement, please allow slight errors on size. - Color might be slightly different due to the color calibration of each individual monitor.

There are so many colors to use on various types of wood. Goes on nicely & covers well. Didn’t use the crayon-like colors.

I bought these for the purpose of decorating little 4x4" wooden boxes, and they worked BEAUTIFULLY! I'm so pleased that I took a chance on them. As they're wood stain rather than paint, they soak into the wood and feather slightly on the edges, but I lined the design with a black ballpoint pen to sharpen the edges (and a white jelly roll paint pen, though that wasn't necessary, just aesthetic). I was very pleased that the white stain had some opacity to it and was visible when placed overtop of other colours.The stains dry fast, have very little smell (I worked near an open window just to be safe), and have beautifully rich colours that deepen with layering. I've attached an image of the box in its original state so you can see the difference. The markers I used for this box were bamboo, oak, mahogany, and black.

Most "pens" were useless on arrival. Probably too old. Threw out most of them. The ones I kept were only good for about one month and then they were dry too. Seemed a good price........should have known better. A waste of money for sure.

This set comes with a good assortment of colors for both the markers and the wax sticks (yes, like crayons). They are good for covering small blemishes. I tested this on a white chair with some scuff marks I couldn’t get out with soap and water. You can see the results by comparing the two pictures. The bottom of the long scuff mark is pretty much imperceptible in the second picture. That said up close and in higher resolution you may be able to notice the covered area is a bit shinier than the surrounding area. These are good but it’s not a perfect tool. You may be hard pressed to match colors exactly (but you’ll at least have a fighting chance with the broad selection in this set). There may be a difference in level of glossiness. There are lots of variables and these can’t account for them all (this is a general comment for these types of products not specific to this set). These do as good or better a job than others I have used. If you need perfection you are better off with paint, stain, wood filler, sandpaper, etc, of course that route requires a lot more elbow grease so that’s the trade off. These are easy to use, yield fast results and are cost effective. Overall, I think these are a good quick fix for minor blemishes.

These don’t replace refinishing wood but the do help to make scratches and blemishes less visible.
