Quality of markers is good, function well, easy to use, lots of colors, problem is colors are not accurate to what I am looking for. I purchased them to correct some scratches on some furniture. Could not find the accurate color. Haven’t used the crayons.

The markers were all dried out. One worked, naturally a color that I did not need. I’ve bought these before from a different seller and they worked great. These were a total waste of money. I’m extremely disappointed and would advise against being these here.

Tried covering scratches on light and dark wood furniture. Darker wood matched and covered better, was not as easily seen that it was covered. Lighter woods were harder to match and more noticeable when the markers were used.

The rating for this particular product is likely more subjective than many. It really depends a lot upon your expectations from something like this. If there are deep gouges or scratches in your furniture, and you are expecting it to be near new looking, with a practically invisible repair, then you are likely to be disappointed. If, on the other hand, your expectations are temperdd a bit, and you are looking to make obvious nicks and scrapes much less noticeable, then this product should fill that need.I can say that the product performs adequately, but not as well as I had hoped. Foremost, the wax filler sticks did not fill scratches and cracks as designed. This is the area the kit fell a bit short. They are basically crayons. Rubbing them into deep scratches did not result in filling to the level of making the scratch disappear. I had the best luck over filling the gouge a bit, then rubbing it down with a terry cloth towel to smooth things out.The color selection for the wax sticks and marker pens are enough to provide a close enough match. The more time one spends, the better the results. There is a bit of an art to it, as it is really more camouflage or cosmetic concealment, than an actual repair. On a hand rubbed wooden bed frame, I achieved the best match by using the cherry wax stick as a filler and base color, then covering with the black marker, which is slightly translucent when on. This resulted in a pretty close appearance to the original. In another test I had a stained wooden cabinet door that had gotten a little paint on it. I quickly used one of the pens to color the white paint. The overall impression of the door improved immensely, and it only took a few seconds.Close up inspection of every attempt reveals only so-so results, but from a few feet away the noticeability of nicks and scratches are greatly reduced. It should be noted that the iPhone camera that I used exaggerated the poor quality of the touch ups I made. Meaning, they actually look considerably better than what the pictures show. I was unable to really capture what the eye sees when looking at the fixes I made. Most of the things I worked on had scratches, nicks or gouges that were very immediately noticeable. After using this product, a person would have to look much more closely to notice them, and even then, they look much better.Suggested improvements would be a better filler for deeper casualties, with perhaps some softer, more paste-like, colored, glossy finishing waxes. However, that would change the complexity of the application and the price. The price for the kit is very fair, and overall does a decent job of reducing obvious marks on furniture. I would recommend the product. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
