This works better than the rakes with the sharpened edges. I use a brush or larger rakes to do a wide area but then switch to this for mats.

This is by far the best brush I have ever used for my Maine Coon. I can't believe the tons of hair it removes. I can now throw away the 10 useless combs, brushes and who knows what else I have purchased. Thank you for a great product.

I admit I was a little skeptical buying a $30+ brush but it’s worth it. This little dude sheds like no other and any attempted at brushing with the old brush feels useless due to his dense coat. The Furminator not only grabs the spare hair, but thins his undercoat in a way that appears painless for him. He enjoys his brushings and each time we end up with a clump of fur bigger than his head.

One of our lion like beasts decided one winter to puff out like we lived in the arctic. Her fur was so thick it started to matt and dreadlock. She HATED any type of grooming.This one was tolerable for her and I swear we could have knitted a king size blanket with all the fur we released from her mane.Worth the cost.

i had no idea my cat had so much hair in her undercoat!!!! when i use it her fur flies all over the place, (my fault, i dont empty it quick enough, ) i LOVE it, but i dont think my cat does, she's always pulling away. but that aside, it's great.

Our long haired, furball making cat finally met his match. While he didn't mind brushing at all, it just was quite worthless. I could have made a sweater from the first time using this tool. It takes less hair each time, and now I'm quickly down to only about every 2-3 days giving it a quick go to keep things cleaned up. I don't need the "click to eject" button because it comes off so easily. He went from attempting an escape to now just laying down to purr and enjoy.
