It is just junky pressed plywood so I painted it but it was very easy to put together and for the price I guess it can't be beat.

BUT ... the bottom of the assembled unit is resting on the window ledgeSo while not an "ideal" shelf unit, it fits my needs perfectly!VERY easy assembly!Very sturdy for my use ("hiding" small items that create clutter too easily)Kudos!I have purchased another unit to add on the top of the first unit (already assembled with meds in the cubbies).That is primarily to "fill in" the unused/empty space up to the top of the window opening&I will have no problem filling-up the next unit. 😉

Like you probably, I bought these for their specific size. I got two of the 10 inch models. They worked great. Everything lined up straight. Zero damage on both.They came with drywall type screws that work good for this cheap particle board. The pre drilled holes were straight. The screws are countersunk but the boards are not so don't screw them in too tight. They'll stick out just a bit and that's fine.The back board is about an eighth inch thick. It fits into slots as you put it together but there's also little things you put into the backside to keep the back board in place. The little plastic things are mostly just guides to keep the screws in line diagonally so just screw them in until the plastic guides snug up against the wood then stop. These little things are good because they help keep the backboard in place which adds to the rigidity of the whole thing.10 pounds for each shelf isn't a lot which gives you an idea of how thick this stuff is. A hair less than a half inch. But if you put the weight over the top of the side walls, you could put a lot more weight on the top because the side walls go all the way to the ground and over the top shelf a bit. You can see that in the photos. If you put the weight on the top shelf in between the side walls then yeah I wouldn't go too much over 10 pounds because then all the weight is coming down on 4 screws in the side walls. Same goes for the bottom and middle shelves. It's fine it's just not meant to be man handled or thrown around or beat on.The dimensions on mine are 9 7/8“ from side to side. 9 5/16“ front to back. 21 3/16“ tall. The width of the shelves, in between the side boards, is 8 7/8".So overall I'd rather pay about 10 bucks a piece for these. 12 or 15 bucks would be a fair price. But they worked and I'm happy with them. No dings chips or marks so that's good because this stuff is easy to mess up. Thanks.

I was looking for something the same night as my coffee bar to store my syrups and also the same color, this little shelf worked perfect and matched perfectly too. Great for small spaces, I saw people mention it wasn’t sturdy so I put heavy duty glue in the screw holes. It’s doesn’t look cheap came well packaged and instructions were easy to follow. I like that you can adjust the shelf height. The only thing I didn’t care for were those black plastic things for the back of shelf I ended up not using them , there useless anyways.
