I didn’t know how this would be given the price, needed a small skinny shelving unit for my tiny laundry area and this fit perfectly! Not to mention it was pretty easy to assemble, as long as you follow the directions exactly and don’t try to do it on your own and then read the directions. Also pretty sturdy. Great price, great buy!

If you’re handy, this shelf is a great purchase. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble, and I’m really happy with it.

I bought this shelf about six months ago for holding a 50 pound fish tank and it has had no problem. No bowing or stability problems. The shelf was quick and easy to put together and is light enough to be moved without any problem. 5/5 good shelf.

I purchased not one, but *two* of these shelves for the purposes of storing my massive hoard of plush toys. For what I purchased them for, they get the job done swimmingly and they look great with the rest of my room.Assembly was simple, and although it was fairly easy to figure out, the provided instruction manual may not be easy for some to make sense of. There are also provided pieces for mounting the shelves to the wall for added sturdiness, and though they are included in the parts list, there are no provided instructions for them.One thing buyers should be aware of is the shelves and legs may arrive dirty with the dust and dirt from the factory. It's relatively easy to wipe them off with your hand, but it may not be a good first impression.As other buyers mentioned, a few of the pieces came with visual imperfections that, while easy to hide, may turn away those who are more particular about aesthetics. For the price however, the shelves are still well-made.Other buyers have mentioned concerns about the sturdiness and stability of the shelves. I cannot comment on the sturdiness as plush toys are not particularly heavy, however the shelves do exhibit a wobble (which is to be expected for this particular make of shelf; one without structural support in between the beams). That being said, though it wobbles, it doesn't feel as if it will fall apart easily. The pieces are all solid wood, as well.One negative is when I was putting on one of the feet for the second shelf, I'd twisted it tight (as I did with no issue for the other pieces), but for this particular piece it caused the glued in screw component to pop out. I had to use pliers to remove it from the shelf so I could use one of the spare legs instead. I did not face this issue with any other pieces, but it should be kept in mind that the application of glue across the pieces does not appear to be consistent.All in all, it is a good shelf and I am satisfied with my purchase. I did not expect a pristine or elegant shelf (nor did I intend to buy one), as this is a very fairly priced shelf. I got what I paid for.

Wow, surprised and pleased with the quality of my new shelf unit. Packed well in a small box with just a couple small pieces, cubes, of styrofoam, no sheets of styrofoam that always make a mess. Such easy assembly: 4 allen screws down through top shelf to first pier of legs (allen key provided) than double end pin screws for each of three remaining shelves hand screw in is all needed, hand tighten the supports between shelves. Comes together easily and is very sturdy. I use one shelf for the texts and notebooks, materials for each of my grad courses. Keeps me organized. A place for everything, everything in its place.

Packaged well. Easy to distinguish parts and pieces and arrived undamaged. Directions are clear and easy to understand. Goes together in about 15-20 min tops with one person. Comes with wrench to assemble.No tools needed.Taller than I imagined but that's great.Sturdy and solid. Adjustable height small feetBought for extra shelving so mine will be wedged between a pantry and a wall with no chances of failing over. Comes with extra feet to make end tables instead and 2 wall anchors. It is tall and thin.The post are flat black and the shelves top and bottom are the same faux wood look that looks nice.I bought storage boxes than I was sure would fit but they are too big by a 1/2 inch. It would have looked so nice. I like the boxes though so I will use them elsewhere.I will use a tape measure now that I have the unit assembled and go to hobby lobby for a better fit. I will update a picture and which boxes I find there in case some one wants to know.

Despite arriving in an intact box, a corner was cracked deeply enough to create a lack of integrity in the shelf.
