The size of engine oil drain valve is 12 millimeters - 1.75. Used to drain engine oil with the touch of a finger and eliminates stripped threads. The Strain plot is exactly what I wanted I've been wondering if this has existed for many years and I finally came across it. I love that all I have to do is Twist lever in the oil just comes out I don't have to get oil all over my hands or all over the ground I took a PVC tube and attached it to it when I needed to drain my oil and stuck the other end of the PVC tube into my oil drain pan and twisted the ball joint rubber and voila Instant Oil Change. It was designed specifically my vehicle so I knew it was going to fit. It is made from high quality brass and stainless steel parts and so far I have had no leaks oil around it or coming out of it. This is probably hands down the single most important piece of equipment I've ever purchased for my vehicle and I love it I cannot wait to use it I might actually do oil changes more often now. It came packaged nicely in a bag the same as if you were to see it hanging on a shelf in AutoZone and all in all I love this thing

Great! Convenient as heck. worked as designed. I shouldnt have waited so long to install this. I would have given 5 stars had it included the plastic lock which is sold separately for $5 , and without free shipping :-(

Fumoto Valve makes changing the oil much easier. Just turn the valve on and wait for the oil to drain. Installation is easy. After installing, I continuously checked to see if any oil was leaking out of the valve. The valve was secure and did not let out a drop. I purchased a rubber cap at Lowes for under $1 to cover the valve opening when not in use. I also purchased a clear pvc tube to connect to the valve to drain the oil directly into a container. Could not be any easier!

Very nice upgrade to get. Fit right on my 2001 Trans Am Convertible, 5.7l LS1 with no adapter needed. No leaks and installation was as simple as just putting the Fumoto valve on after you take the drain plug off. Use a little bit of 3/8 tubing and you can run the used oil right into empty oil bottles. No more messy tank. Worth the cost just to skip that part! Love it!

I went on the fomuto web site to check the fit for my Mazda 6s Wagon V6 3.0l engine and that was the one. I received it same day from Amazon and tried to put it on. Unfortunately, even though they said it will fit on my car, there is not enough clearance to set it up. Trying to screw it in the oil pan is near impossible as it is too big and the exhaust is nearby preventing it to be installed. Sure they also sell an adaptor however even with it the exhaust pipe is on its way. I should have be worried as no Mazda owner reported here but thought it would work. I gave it 3 stars as I was able to install the f-106n model on my Honda Civic with no clearance issue whatsoever. If it works for you, great however if you are out of luck like me, you have to get back to your usual plug drain. Bummer...!

I bought this for my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5.3 V8 and it's a perfect fit. I installed this during my last oil change so I haven't had a chance to do a drain yet, but I'm anticipating no issues. I opted for the "N" fitting with the nipple so I can attach a short piece of tubing to it and drain the old oil directly into my storage container rather than into a catch pan, then into my storage container. Hopefully this will save a messy step. And one thing too, when you change oil on these 5.3 engines, when you remove the drain plug the oil comes shooting out and almost hits the right-front tire! So I'm looking forward to a more controlled oil drain without a potential mess on the garage floor.I don't do any off-roading with my truck, but as a safety measure, I went to the hardware store and purchased a 5/8" hose spring clamp. This will help keep the drain valve in the closed position until I'm ready to change oil.I'll try to remember to come back and update my review after my next oil change... but so far not a drop of oil from the fitting or the valve.

My first oil change was an environmental disaster. It was like changing the diaper on a new born. Not anymore! With this oil change I eagerly broke the package and replaced the drain plug with the Fumoto F-107N for my 2008 Acadia. The flange on the oil pan was just a bit too intrusive and the last turn did take an extra "umph" that relieved my fear that it was too big to fit. With the Fumoto F-107N in place I tested my reach from the front of the vehicle and can turn the Fumoto F-107N on and off minus the ramps. What fun now to pop the hood. change the filter and with a short tube attached drain the old oil with a twist. No mess! How much is this worth to me? Every penny, and my neighbors smile thinking I've finally mastered mechanics. I'll tell them April first.An update to my first oil change with the Fumoto F-107N.A question:"Would it leak?" was answered; no, not a drop! Then, the watch was on reading the percentage of oil life left from the Oil Life Monitor System. A notice from my dealer called for a change 2 months before the message, "change oil" prompted action with the Fumoto F-107N. A scant 2 inches necessitated some spare lumber for clearance to place the empty oil container with a short piece of tubing from the Fumoto F-107N. From the front of my 2008 Acadia the arms reach was perfect and the oil pan hot, hot, hot. I used an old rag to turn the Fumoto F-107N on, and let it drain. With the new filter and oil added I capped the old oil and stored the tube. Total time under my vehicle to operate the Fumoto F-107N -- 20 seconds (I'm slow) Did I miss messing with the oil plug and catch pan; no. Am I happy with the Fumoto F-107N, you betcha!

Put one on my 09 Silverado and an 03 Impala. They work great, just hook up the hose, put it in the drain pan and turn the valve. Keeps oil from shooting out and running everywhere or the wind blowing the oil (if you do it outside like I do). For on road safety, I use the old style radiator hose clamp on the valve in the unlikely event that it is knocked open by road debris and in case I run over something in the truck while off road. Definitely a good buy and work saver.
