Your cart is empty. The size of engine oil drain valve is 20 millimeters - 1.5. Used to drain engine oil with the touch of a finger and eliminates stripped threads. It replaces drain plug for quick, easy, clean oil change. It is also ideal for drawing small sample of oil for oil analysis. Helps to avoid contact with hot oil and prevents hands and clothes from getting messed up.

If you are even slightly mechanical inclined, buy this and change your own oil. Make it a breeze and mess free. Every car should come installed w this awesome gadget.

Fits my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT well. Car is lowered on H&R springs and I see no damage on the valve. I opted to not order a nipple extension version due to driving with a lowered car, however I think you'd be safe on a mildly-lowered car to have the short nipple. The front crossmember drops down just a smidge lower than the valve does on my car without it.

Did not receive the correct part. I verified that I ordered the correct size for my vehicle, but I received on that is made for construction equipment! I'm a bit ashamed that I didn't notice it being nearly twice the size of my drain plug, but then again I don't spend that much time with my drain plug... I did not notice until I went to change my oil and install the valve about 2 months after ordering it, and I can no longer return the item... So I will post the review and hopefully you all heed the warning to verify the part number once you receive the item.

Love this valve. So much easier to change oil. I have this on my 2011 Tacoma, 2011 Infiniti G37s and 2010 Camry. Check the size that fits right for your vehicle. Eliminating the step on removing the drain plug saves me a lot of time and less spilling onto my garage floor. With my Tacoma i don't have to get under there and undo the drain plug. I simply turn the valve slowly and let it drain into my oil pan. If you DIY your own oil changes this is a must have. No more burns from the hot oil, you save time, and less mess to clean up.

If you do your own oil changes this is an absolute dream product. This eliminates any tools you'd need before to remove the drain plug. Once you install the valve, it's simple to reach under the car, flip the switch, and drain the oil. Adding a length of hose can route the oil to any spot. I have my oil drain out to the side so I can keep my oil pan out to the side of the car for easier access.I was a little worried about the size of the valve when I ordered it. It's still small and compact enough that you're not loosing more than 1/4" ground clearance which is negligible for most cars.

This valve saves a lot of mess and hassle when changing oil. The valve fit just fine in my 2011 Subaru WRX. The supplied gasket alone is sufficient, in my experience; no leaks. The only downside you'll ever hear about getting one of these is that draining takes 'a lot' longer, because the drain hole diam is smaller. This valve does slow down the draining process, but I don't think it is a problem at all since it doesn't seem to take all that much longer. Well worth it, I highly recommend this valve.

The first one I got was the wrong size and that was Amazon's fault, and I like how easy it is to send mistakes back without any hassle. Anyways, I got the correct size and all is well. This one was for my wifes '12 Outback. I've had one on my '07 WRX for years and love the ease it provides for oil changes. One of the beefs about this product is that the threads sit up to far in the pan, and that does not allow all of the old oil to drain out. A simple fix is to file a couple of notches in the threads. It is also great for stopping mid-stream for oil analysis.
