I had a stripped out aluminum oil pan nut on my 2005 Jeep liberty, rethread whole and used this to replace nut. Now I now just have to open valve to drain, works great and no more oil leak.

I have an old Dodge 4x4 W250 truck (1990s) with the 12 valve Cummins in it. I put one of these on it because it sits so high I can get under it, check the oil and have it tested. These moors last so long, I just like to make sure everything is okay. It wasn't necessary but I did it anyway.

Awesome mod for changing oil. Installed in my truck and it's worked great. No more mess when I am taking the plug out. No worries of stripping threads when I change my oil. Just remove the keeper and flip the lever. Works awesome.

This is one of my favorite upgrades that I've made to my 2012 Ram 2500. Fits Cummins 6.7L engine drain pan perfectly. The ease of an oil change with this valve is hands-down, well worth the cost. No out of control oil geyser, just a nice 1/4" stream. The only downside is that it does take a little longer to drain the 12 quarts of oil, but believe me, you will not regret this purchase. The valve is well built and is held closed by a spring-loaded, recessed safety position to prevent inadvertent draining of oil. Overall great upgrade.

This is the second one I've owned. I have this one on my '15 Ram 2500 and I had one on an '04 F-350. Easy to install and makes changing the oil so easy and much cleaner.Update 25Jul18: After 10 months, this is working great. I have no oil leaking around the nut.

Installed on a 2016 Ram 2500 Diesel to make the oil changes much easier and less messy. No issues installing, it was as easy as removing and reinstalling the drain plug. No issues with any leaks or drips since the installation.

I've installed these drain valves on all my vehicles. They work as advertised and reduce oil change messes drastically! The oil flows a tad bit slower through the valve but it is a small price to pay not to get my hands covered in hot oil when performing oil changes. The valve also works great on my RV which requires six gallons of oil and requires two large drain pans to contain used oil. The valve is easy to operate and stops oil flow in an instant when needed. Cross-threading of the drain plug is also a thing of the past. Highly recommended!
