This electric lighter was worth the price. I don't smoke so I'm not sure about the cigarettes, but it works well on any candle if the wick is extended enough to light. If, as sometimes happens with jar type candles, the wick is buried in the wax, you'll have to either dig it out or use a flame to get it released. For stick candles it works very well. It came charged and I've lit about 12-15 candles and haven't had to charge it yet. It is nice looking, light weight and easy to use. The outer shell is nicely designed and looks stylish. A little long to carry around as a cigarette lighter but great for the house.

I’ve used this flameless lighter exclusively for lighting my candle in my bedroom. It works like a charm every time! It’s a much safer item than a regular lighter, and I can rest easy knowing my child won’t burn down the house! I’ve used it now for about two months and I haven't had to charge it yet. It’s much better for the environment because I wont need to get a new lighter every time the fuel is gone.

I saw this on a tech deals page and wanted to try it so I ordered it immediately. When I got it, I had no idea how well this works. I use it mainly to light my gas burner which has a dead pilot. It works way better than a traditional lighter. My stove lights up instantly. After more than a week's use, it still got 3 out of the 4 leds. I expect it to last more than a month on a full charge. Very happy about it.

It seems well built, and I like the retractable head to protect the user while the device is not in use. I also like the color, and the LEDs that indicate state of charge. It is also easy enough to operate. As for its ability to light up candles, it is OK. It feels a bit more awkward that I thought it would to use it, because you have to position it exactly right so that it will light up the wicks. It also seems like it takes longer to light them than I expected (3-4 seconds). This could be user error, so I am not going to complain about it.All in all, it does what it is expected to do, and I do not need to keep a lighter at home, which would be my only reason to keep one here.

I like this product a LOT, I truly do. It’s easy, safe, gaz free, what is not to love?Only remark, and that’s why I put 4 stars and not 5, it MUST be charged with the cord that comes with it. I tried several times to charge it with different USB-C cables I have with different charger and only the original cord works. That’s not ideal but once you know that, it’s a great product

Absolutely fantastic! But if you are buying it to light your joints like me don’t unless you roll pinners. The prongs are close together but I still love it for my candles no more burning my fingers.

So I wanted something a little fancy for lighting my many candles and let me tell you, this rechargable lighter is GREAT. It holds a charge *forever*, and it works quite easily, plus I love the cute rose gold colour. It's exactly what I was looking for and is worth every penny. Plus I'll save a ton of money on lighters and be more environmentally friendly!

honestly scared the hell out of me first time i turned it on, never to be used again. What would you light with that? I tried a candle wick but you have to have your depth perception just perfect. not for me but maybe somebody else
