The primary problem with the last 2 I've owned is that the igniter/clicker will stop igniting/clicking and completely give up. The first one lasted close to a year and the second one only 3 months from the day of purchase. I purchased the second time because I do like the fact that if you keep the lighter at your body temperature, by keeping in your hand in your pocket, you can keep the flame setting down low indoors and only light a small portion of your pipe at a time and not waste the rest in some Inferno.

These torch lighters can be confusing at first. I almost returned them. I filled them with butane but when I lit them, they burned a quick second and went out multiple times. After a YouTube search, I learned you have to purge air from the system. They even sell a purging tool. Once I did that, these burned beautifully. The weatherproof case does a good job of keeping the lighter operational in the elements.

This is hands down the worst product I have ever ordered. I ordered 4 of these items and none worked and they shorted me 2 items. They have since sent 4 replacements and none of them work properly, not even close. They either won’t lite or when they do it won’t turn off and burns all the butane.

This is perfect for camping and boating, the waterproof feature is a game changer, no more worrying about losing your source of fire. Flame strength and quality is great, true to size and great feel, it lasts a very long time!

Quality lighter with good flame. The only drawback is you can't see when the lighter is full of butane. Wish there was a window so you can see the level.

Update: the "latch" that opens the lid is made of plastic and one wrong bump or drop and it breaks basically making the lid unusable. It does have the safety latch that will still keep the lid closed but that is pointless when the clip is broken.Wind proof and safe to carry all the time in a pocket. With the safety latch you do not have to worry about it coming open. The size of the tank is perfect, filling is easy and the flame is adjustable. My only complaint is that the white plastic of the tank is thick and almost impossible to see through to figure out how much or how little gas is in it.

One of the anodes was much smaller than the other and is rapidly eroding. Soon it will cease to function.
