My only, and big dissapointment about these is how hard they are to ignite. Takes holding with one hand and using thumb and finger from both. Anticipated they would be more like a regular BIC lighter.

Great improvement, especially for lighting candles, incense, etc. Halfway between a regular lighter and a grill lighter, great for many uses.They are a little hard to press and hold since the button is small and is right up against a sharp edge so there is a room for further improvement, hence 4 of 5 stars

I was looking for a replacement for another brand of lighter that's similar to these BIC's. Could not find a good deal on them so I decided to try the BIC brand. Was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews but after having received and used them several times, I can't find any issues with them. After opening the package, I immediately tried all 6 of them. None of them failed to ignite or produce a flame. Since then, I have used two of them to start fires in the fireplace and they have performed as they should. Once in a while, they will not light on the first click but usually do on the second try. Can't comment on longevity because I haven't had them long enough to run through all of the gas on any one of them. Overall, I think it was a pretty good deal for a decent lighter and would most likely buy again.
