I used two of these kits for insulating rim joists in my new building. The result, for the most part, was the same as what the professionals put in my ceilings. But just as life is often imperfect, so are these. If for some reason (usually nozzle clogging, temperature problems) your ratio is wrong or you over apply, you may be left with a disgusting, gooey, mess of a situation that needs cleanup before proceeding with additional layers. Or, the exact opposite could happen and you could end up with rock hard, brittle foam resulting in poor performance... better than the former issue but still not good.Be very, very vigilant in monitoring the resulting foam to ensure both components are being sprayed in equal amounts. Had I known the system is so finicky due nozzle clogging, I would have purchased additional fan nozzle, which were the best for my application.

I repaired a 20 year old structural leakI removed siding ,sheathing and replaced studs. I used Froth Pak 210. I sprayed from the outside to the plaster wall board.I am glad I took my time prepping. I tarped the area and rented a propane heater. I stapled plastic on all the areas not receiving foam. That included stud faces , floor boards and wall framing. The process takes patience and is somewhat messy. The final outcome was awesome. I am glad I did it. I am confident and very pleased with the results.

I was a little worried about this product after reading reviews, however, it worked properly, and covers pretty much the exact advertised board feet. I ended up doing 2 inches thick. It dried very quickly, and was easy to trim the overspray. Make sure to follow directions and use in warm environment.

The foam doesn't really expand very much. I got this mix before to do the inside of my promaster van that I'm converting to a camper. I want the vapor barior that it provides so that there is no (or very little) condensation that can form on the inside of the van's metal surfaces when it's cold outside and warm inside the van. This helps with mold growth and gives me peace of mind. But the stuff is crazy expensive for what you get and again, it just doesn't foam out much. But it is what it is...

I was a little worried about using this stuff after reading different reviews but when I used it it worked out very well! Just follow the instructions included and you'll be fine. When applying the product, don't dilly dally! Go right at it. I think where people get into trouble is that they take their time after using it and it gives the product time to set up in the lines causing blockage. Don't take a break. Use it all up before stopping for a while and it should work fine. I also had someone moving the cans for me so I didn't need to keep stopping.

We're enclosing a patio, to make it a sun room. As the wall cavities are very small batt insulation really wouldn't work. We were kind of apprehensive abt using this but it was fairly easy to do. The hardest part was trying to mix the product in the canisters b4 spraying it. My husband is very good at using spray paint and getting a nice even coat on things so I knew he'd be good at this as it's pretty much like that. It doesn't take long to do. Be sure to protect the areas you don't want foamed! Windows, floors, 2x4s. It dries very fast and is very rigid. Once it's dried you can scrape glops off the floor or anywhere else w a putty knife but it does stick well! I'm very glad we covered the floors and windows.
