I needed to make a pattern to run with a 7/16" collar and I didn't have a 7/16" bit. I have several Freud table saw blade and love them so I tried this router bit. It works beautifully. It's very sharp and makes perfect cuts.

Corta muy bonito, tiene un filo precioso y deja los cortes casi lijados, pero el bastago se doblo cuando toco un pequeño nudo. Es para trabajos finos pero no de batalla como yo habia creido.

Love FREUD products, bits and blades. This bit cut cleanly and even though I forgot a backer board when I cut the dado there was no chip out coming through the cut

Works perfect for cutting slots for shelf pins. I'm sure it has many other uses as well but that's what I have used it for so far and bought specifically to do in case anyone else is wondering if it will work.As alway from Freud cuts like butter and doesn't chatter.

I bought this to cut channels to mount LED strip lighting (10mm strips). It worked great for that application. It is just a bit oversized for the strips, was was fine for my application.The bit cut straight and true upon arrival, and there was no sign of chipping or tearout, at least on the first couple hundred feet of routing. The bottom of the slot was clean and even, and didn't require any sanding or chisel touch-up.The material I used was MDF, which is very tough on edged tools. Not sure how much longer it will hold up, but it got through about 500' or so with only a slight dulling becoming evident.If I can get it sharpened for less than the cost of a new bit, I will. Unfortunately that is getting tougher and tougher to do.All things considered, I am happy with the bit.

I had planed some wood to 7/16" and needed to cut some grooves the same width. Big box stores did not stock this size so ordered online. Very good quality bit that cut smoothly and without any tearout. Arrived in 3 days after I ordered it.
