Some questions and answers about freesea wavemaker:

Question 1: Is it hard for you to clean the trash at the bottom of the fish tank and the water gets dirty?

Answer: It is not beneficial for water filtration if the fish tank water isn’t running. Most of the fishes enjoy the dynamic water environment. Our wave maker can promote the circulating ability of fish tank water and move the trash at the bottom of the fish tank away. And it is helpful for the filter to finish water filtration easily.

Question 2: Why does the wavemaker pump very noisy?

Answer: Firstly, please confirm whether the wave pump is completely immersed in the water. Secondly, please confirm whether the voltage is 110V/60Hz. If it is 50Hz, it will also cause the wave pump to be noisy. Thirdly, please disassemble the pump. Wave pump inspection, whether there is anything stuck near the propeller.

Question 3: Why does the wavemaker pump not work after a period of time? what should we do?

Answer: First of all, we must first rule out whether it is burnt out, if not, please disassemble the pump body, is there something stuck, If the problem cannot be eliminated, please ask for help.

For what it’s worth it worked very well for two days….then quit! I didn’t even perform a water change/drain so there was no way I left it plugged in while it wasn’t submerged which I have done before in the past but even still the last hyger one I had for 3 years I did actually forget to unplug a time or two and the pump still worked up into it took a random poop, but yeah this one didn’t work after two days, I’m gettin a replacement now and maybe I just got a dud and hopefully I can revoke this review in the next few days but kinda skeptical at the moment

It's powerful and quiet. You will hear it but it's less than a side filter or bubbler. Moves some water ! I got 2 but 1 does the job. Guess i got backup for when this dies. Doesn't suck fish in!

Made a little clicking noise at first and the right motor wouldn’t work, but a couple of shakes and it works perfect.

I just love the way this pump attaches to my aquarium and it’s quiet and moves a lot of water. It attaches with a powerful magnetic bracket so it doesn’t move. I would highly recommend this for your tank!

More than enough flow for my 30-gal innovative marine reef tank!very impressed by the performance and it seems to be a little too powerful for my tank lol!should be good for bigger tanks in the 70-80 gal range as wellhighly recommended

I bought this product 2 years ago and from the get-go it was flaky at best. Once in awhile the fan will stop working. You would have to take the front casing off and readjust the impeller inside so it would work properly. After about 2 years, a month ago a couple of my fish were turning grayish and we're getting very weak and dying. When I put my hand in the water during a cleaning/water change, there was a electrical current running through the water and it was electrocuting me and the fish. Although, it wasn't enough voltage to kill my fish or myself, nonetheless there was still an electrical current running in my tank. I was able to determine that it was in fact this exact product that was the cause of the electricity in the water. I highly recommend you spend a little bit extra and get a product that won't kill your fish or quite possibly a human.

So far so good. Water flow is great, the magnet that holds it in place is great. I’m not going to lie I was nervous about using magnets on my tank (first time) but this one is powerful enough to hold but not so powerful that you can’t control the two ends while putting it in place/taking it off. Either way the out side magnet should always be slid on from the side of the tank. BUT I’m only giving it four stars because the cord could be at the very least a foot longer. While it is inconvenient to have to either get an extension cord or mount a power strip higher on the wall for taller tanks, that’s not why I’m only giving four stars. I’m only giving four stars because of the possible safety hazard. Drip loops on your wires is important and I feel like the people designing equipment meant for aquariums should be promoting this safety feature, not making it harder to accomplish. For reference my tank and stand together is about 55 1/2 inches tall. With this wave maker placed about 3 or 4 inches from the top of my tank, the power cord reaches to about mid stand. It would have been just long enough to plug into the top plug of an outlet if lined up just so with the outlet but no drip loop.
