Should have known by the price. Handle is plastic so will melt on campstove unless right on edge. After 2nd use coating started coming off cooking surfaces.

The pan is easy to use and clean, food comes out nicely. Handles have needed to be tightened a few times—seems almost after each use. Have had this product since May and found the bottom rusting leaving rust on my cutting board, where it rests when not in use in cupboard. You can see the rust on both the pan and cutting board. Food side doesn’t appear to be rusting but the coating used seems to show some discoloration in pan, not the poached egg cups.My rating of 3-4 stars is mostly due to ease of use, cooking, cleaning. 0 stars for quality of product.

This omelette pan works great . Its non stick , cleans with ease plus makes the most delicious omelette EVER . It even works great as 2 pans if you cooked 2 things at once . I wouldn't put it in the dish washer . its very easy to clean just a wipe with some soap and water and your good for next time . Thanks

This pan works wonderfully on an induction cook top. It is magnetic. The nonstick surface is smooth and performs great. In my opinion, this is one time many of the reviewers got it wrong. One cannot give an honest review of a product if one does not understand how to properly use it. The product is exactly what it purports to be: a stamped out carbon steel folding omelette pan with nonstick covering.

If there was a star for 0, I would have chosen it!This product is poorly made with no double handle or latch to keep it closed during flipping. Result? Egg all over the stove. The second omelet was also a flop. This time I manually held it closed only to get dangerously close to my flame. The eggs were undercooked unevenly, leaving a portion of the egg runny and nonedible and the other portion over cooked! The directions for use were nondescript and useless. It would make nice double cat food bowl!

i bought the nordic ware omelette pan and the fox run omelette pan. I saw good and bad reviews on both. If i could put the pictures up of the side by side comparison i would but i do not see a way to do that. Now that being said - my review - whether you buy the 36 dllr one or the 13 dllr one they are both very thin metal. the inner coating is different. the nordic ware is nice however both non stick and very thin metal. that being said anybody who cooks knows high heat and thin metal you are going to burn whatever it is you are cooking. not only will it burn but it will stick and the coating will peel. neither one of these have a 500 degree rating. so if you want to cook on high heat to try to cook it in 1 minute neither of these is the product for you.As far as assemble the nordic ware comes fully assembled, the fox run you have to put the handle on. as far as the pan they both come put together and rivited. some of you complained the handle comes off on the fox run. it comes with a locking washer. put it on. on the screw head side. not underneath the handle. if you cant tighten it get a screw driver with a smaller handle and a better fitting phillips head. it will tighten and it will stay tight. As far as cooking - you do the pre spray on both with pam of something of the sort on medium heat, takes a little bit but you come out with a very nice omelet or fritatta with either one.nordic ware has a lifetime warranty, fox run does not. i do like the coating on the nordic ware better but does it really make a huge difference? not really. little better than a 20 dllr difference. is one worth the extra 20 dllr or the other the 20 saving? personal preference. nordic ware does look nicer and does come with life time warranty. fox run does the same thing nordic ware one will do. does not look as nice does not come with lifetime warranty.both only get a 4 star rating because of the thin metal. feels like something one would buy for a couple dollars at target. other than that both are great. hope this was helpful.
