It's a great color, and it writes well, but on the leuchtturm1917 there's a lot of feathering. The reason for the 3 stars though is because the "sheen" only shows up in sample smudges. Regardless of what nib I use or what pen, there is NO sheen. That was the reason I got this ink in the first place, so I'm really disappointed in that. I usually really enjoy Ferris Wheel Press, and I do like this ink, but it's just not as described.

Gorgeous inks!! I had an issue with one of the bottles arriving leaking and half empty but Ferris Wheel customer service replaced it and included another bottle as a gift. Very happy with the support and inks!

HORRIBLE.It was like a murder scene opening my package, the glass was shattered, the ink was splattered throughout the whole package. Everything I ordered was stained red upon delivery. The ink was completely unsalvageable, and a hazard to dispose of, I don’t even want to return it because it’s broken glass and ink. I wish I could’ve gotten useable red ink, I’m really disappointed and upset I had to clean that mess up.

Love these inks so much. I use them in an FPR one with a flex nib. Works great and love the shimmer.

Die Farbe der Tinte ist grandios. Schön satt und der Ton entspricht ganz den Fotos. Mit einer Glasfeder war die Tinte auch prima zu schreiben. Allerdings sinkt der Glitzer sehr schnell zu Boden, sodass beim Schreiben nicht mehr viel davon zu sehen ist. Man müsste das Fläschchen ständig schütteln, damit Glitzer an die Feder kommt. So ist der Glitzer nur bei den ersten Wörtern zu sehen. Sehr schade.

Firstly, the packaging is spectacular!! The bottle is heavy, the topper is a quality metal, and there is a rubber piece that covers the top preventing an leakages. The color is a deep brown and could almost pass for black. The shimmer is subtle, more of a suggeation of glitter than in your face explosion of sparkle. It's a smooth writing ink and I've used it without any problems in multiple pens. I can't wait to buy more colors.

Die Farbe ist ein wunderschöner Teal-aton mit silbrigen Schimmer, der nicht von der Farbe ablenkt. Das Schreibgefühl ist geschmeidig und gleitet auf Papier ohne dabei durchzubluten.Die Flasche hat ein super Design, leider ist die Öffnung etwas klein und Converter mossen mit Vorsicht aufgefüllt werden. Lange warten nach den schütteln kann man auch nicht, da der Schimmer sich relativ schnell absetzt.Trotzdem liebe ich die Tinte

I grew up in the Caribbean were we were required to write with a fountain pen. It's something I still love to do and I have a nice engraved pen. Sometimes its hard to find ink for the pen. I'm glad I found this. It's smooth and a great color!
