Used in a home theatre installation project to hide the speaker wires and HDMI cables behind the drywall. This configuration worked out fine for me.

I purchased 2 of these panels for a recent project. I wanted to have a a wall panel in another part of the shop that would allow both audio and video signals, these wall panels work great. on the feed side a just one panel to hide the cables going out and make for a professional look, and on the use side, I installed another wall panel to both hind the cables and allow me to plug into the feeds I wanted. The HDMI port allows for quick easy video, and the surround sound feeds allow for serious speaker selection. Instead of a group of cables sticking out of the wall, you have this nice and neat wall plate, then simply make small jumper cables to the head unit.

My wife loves this - all those ugly, random trailing cables are neatly hidden behind this face plate. I love it as well: it's easy to wire up, easy to fit and looks good. If it's got the connections you need, don't hesitate

Like the design. My only issue is the hdmi coupler. It’s been said it supports all hdmi versions. This does not. I’m running 4K and have tons of issues with hdcp from my PS4 pro to my onkio then to my Visio 75” M series tv. When I take the coupler out of the mix all things work. When it’s in line I get tons of intermittent issues.

Nearly perfect with the exception of not including screws for securing to a gang-box. This item is meant to be used solo direct into the drywall which would make it a bit insecure with heavy gauge wire. I used a 3-gang wall box and got proper screws for securing this to the box. Worked WONDERFULLTY and the connectors are very solid and well built. Great for do-it-yourself Home Theater installation and bringing up the value of your house for plug-and-play future Home Theater lovers.

Plate is a good design with a nice layout which includes 1 subwoofer port. All ports are identified. I didn't run the HDMI cable through the plate, instead running it directly from the receiver to the TV as it produced a better signal that way. It wasn't just this plate as I pulled the HDMI plate from behind the TV to run the cable directly to the TV since that plate also caused a drop in signal quality. It might be an issue only because I'm running a 45 foot HDMI cable with Redmere technology that's powered so it might not have enough power to run through the plates and into other cables. Only issue with this otherwise excellent plate is it doesn't work with the 3-Gang wall insert Amazon recommends with it (OnQ / Legrand AC101003 3Gang Low Voltage Bracket, Retrofit.) I actually have yet to find a gang that the screws will line up with, hence the 4 stars.****UPDATE**** Per my own experience and S. Wells comment, it was operator error, not the gang insert's issue. To make this plate work with the recommended wall insert REMOVE the plate cover from the 3 modules first, screw the modules into the gang insert, then mount the cover plate over them. I add the fifth star.

I've been looking around for a while for a wall panel for my surround sound system to inspire me to actually do the project. After perusing Home Depot and other Retail locations, I decided to take my search to the interwebs (especially since I've been brought onto the Prime Party going on). Price point for retail versions was a big turn-off for me; the price and reviews drew me into this panel.Pros:- Easy to install/setup.- The banana jack connections are on both sides of the panel also have the screw-in feature, so that you can use a connector or exposed wire.- Simple packaging- The entire panel consists of 3 gangs worth of connectors. the Cool thing about this is that, if you don't like the white surround supplied, you can easily swap it with a 3-gang panel of your choice. You can also install them in whatever order you want, versus the order shown in the photosCons:- No easy English instructions- One of my screw in connectors doesn't quite thread perfectly (I made it work). Not worth taking this down below 5-Starts- Banana jacks on both end are difficult, as the connectors aren't quite long enough and can pop out one or the other connector (not enough for it to not work)Notes:- a 3 gang box of some sort is required. You can either install a full 3-gang panel, or a low-voltage panel. A full 3-Gang box allows for extra speaker wire to be coiled up inside of it and contained so it doesn't interfere with other wall wires, so you can take off the panel easily. Low-voltage panel works for a simple cut & install.- I noticed an improvement in my audio performance, more than likely due to a cleaner connection to them due to the project (cleaner routing, better connections).- I paired connected speakers to this panel using raw-end of the speaker wire. I connected the panel to my receiver using banana jack connections. So, so much easier for access, connectivity, and implementation.
