Thought this would be great addition for my theater room, but the components are poor quality. The hdmi socket is defective.

This product is easy to install. I was able to connect my Sony home theater with Sony TV wall mounted on the fireplace.

Great product. Was able to connect a home Ab receiver among various equipment efficiently with this. The holes accept 12 gauge but not with the cover. Took a lot of time. 14 gauge fit with ease.

Our home has a whole-house speaker system with eight speakers. All those speaker wires, along with our other A/V connections for the television, feed through a single double-gang-sized wall opening in our living room. This is the only product I could find - anywhere - that accommodates that many connections in one double-gang sized opening. Simple as that.

I used this line of components for my new home theater, running speaker wire, coax for the subwoofer, ethernet, and HDMI inside the walls. The problem is that the bandwidth of 4K HDMI doesn't like long cable runs or multiple connectors. So to get to my projector I was going out of my HDMI receiver to this wall plate, through the connector, into another HDMI cable in the wall, 15 feet to another connector on the ceiling, through that connector to another short HDMI cable that plugged into the projector. HD signals went through fine. 4K would not. The projector simply didn't get a signal with 4K. So I ended up after all that, having to string an HDMI cable across the room directly from the AV receiver to the projector. Total length of cable the same, but without all those connectors in the middle. Works fine. So I would say...don't expect this thing to work with 4K. Your results may vary depending on the distance you run the cable. I also used really high quality HDMI cables and tested them before installing in the wall, so it's not the cables...I will also point out that the speaker clips work well, but they are hard to push and only easily accept up to 16 gauge stranded wire. I ran 14 in the walls and it was hard to get in.

Before and after photos shown. This setup takes time and effort and in the end, it is great. Springs a little tight on the speaker wire connectors. The optical requires and absurd amount of force. But all told...awesome. I pulled out a pair of the keystones to fish through cables that have zero chance for connectors (10 year old wii the kids love). The six port speaker wall plate costs more. All these keystones can be removed and replace. Very happy I bought this product. Obviously flimsy, thin, lousy quality and made in China, but who cares? It sounds great. Conveys 4K. I’m not touching it for ten years and it works. Done.

Works well. Nice and compact for all of the connections. Had to reinsert some of the audio cables a couple times when they didn’t grab the first time, but seems to be sufficient for a good connection. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
