It worked well. I especially liked the ability to use the depth collar to accurately set the depth of the hole.

Great value set! Needed a 35mm bit to install a cabinet door. And had to face a tough choice:A-Buy 1 for $10, >B-Buy 5 piece set for $20, >C-Buy a named brand bit for $$$$$.You can do your own math.....The whole set appears to be built to the same good standards. The bit worked very well. The depth stop was a little crooked, but I made it work! Very helpful that the shanks have a standard hex shape. Makes it better to use them with a hand drill.(Do not have to use a bench drill.)The cheap plastic case is intact, and will work well, until I make a wooden one.

These bits were ordered to install some metric cabinet hardware and they worked wonderfully. Other than cutting a good clean hole the next best feature is the adjustable depth stop. This makes for perfect inset dimensions for embedded hardware. I will probably be getting a few more in different sizes as these are great.

This bit has a very sharp and useful business end cuts through Ash, Oak and Madrone with ease but It only has 2" of working Depth. This should not be listed as a Forstner Bit it should just call itself a bit for setting hinges in doors or cabinets. I did manage to get it to go a little over 3 12" by using a chisel to make the hole larger but I need at least 4.5" of drilling depth for most of my projects. This bit has it's uses but I should have paid closer attention to the actual drill depth not just the hole diameter. It does adjust pretty easily and the set screws really hold well when setting the drilling depth.

One inch is NOT 25mm. It's 25.4mm.The bit is very nice. I like the depth gauge.
