The fan works as needed, but the multi port extension keeps the external drive in a constant need of “repair”. Best to buy just the fan.

The first one i got didnt function at all. Once i got a replacement, the usb hub worked great. The fan worked great too. Every time I turned it on after that, the fan sounds like it's put together wrong and scraping against the casing. Goes away sometimes. But it's super loud and annoying. Otherwise works great.
