This base works just fine charges ok the lights could be easier to shut off. The reason I dropped a star was the directions, there will be a small cap covering the base of your PS 5 not mentioned in the directions. Remove it and find happiness.

So I purchased this product mostly for the fans so it can keep my ps5 cool, it worked for 3-4 days perfect then a sound started coming out of the fans like if the fan is hitting something, then 2 days after the fan stopped working. The only thing that is nice about this product is the lights.Do not buy. Waist of money.

I bought this for my sons PS5 and he loves it, definitely worth the money, it’s easy to use it’s small, doesn’t take up much room and it’s a nice charging station for his controllers.

Very solid base--no worries about it tipping over. Be sure to use the screw provided. It may appear the that there is no screw hole in the bottom of the console, but there is a tiny puck shaped piece which is easily removed, to reveal the threaded socket.Unit works quite well. I cannot even hear the fan.The USB-C connector should not be inserted into the super-highspeed port, as that port will be needed for other hardware, such as VR2. The USB port above the super-speed works just fine.

The fan and LED lights and everything work wonderfully. My only major issue is that the fan doesn’t automatically turn on to the setting I had it before like my last one did
