With Home Button, But No TouchID
Why the new screen includes Home button, but Touch ID will likely be non-functional? This is because the original Touch ID sensor is uniquely paired with your device's security chip and this pairing cannot be replicated in replacement screen, leading to the loss of fingerprint recognition capabilities. The Home button will still work for navigation.
If you want to retain TouchID functionality, you need to reuse the existing Home button. During the process, you must carefully install the original home button to ensure Touch ID and fingerprint authentication operability.

I thought it came with pre-installed adhesion to secure the new screen to the digitizer, which others do, and which all the how to video's say to peel off the adhesion two way tape before securing the new screen onto the digitizer. You have to remove the old adhesive as one of the first steps, but then when you are ready to snap the new screen into place, there is no preinstalled adhesive strip that I could find, or no adhesive to apply, therefore I had to stop and go buy some. It would have been nice if it was already there. If it was supposed to be, it wasn't on the one sent to me. I should have watched the " How to" video before buying and opted to buy one that had the adhesion tape already attached ready to go.
