The house we moved into has a fairly steep gravel driveway and my 2wd truck wouldn't pull our boat up the hill. I had a no slip in a truck I had before and liked it. At half the cost of the no slip I thought I would give this a try. Took about 2 hrs to install- watch videos online as it comes with no instructions. I replaced axle seals so another hour to get those and do that. I read reviews that said everything from "you can't tell it's there" to "the vehicle goes out of control when it locks and unlocks". I drove in circles in a parking lot with the windows open and the radio off and heard some clicking but there was no popping, slamming or banging. Maybe these work better with some axle types than others, maybe if you put one in a SWB vehicle with a worn out drivetrain you would have different results than I did. As for me- boat problem solved, can't hear it 95% of the time, no jerking or banging. Very happy so far, would do it again in a second.

I haven't got to use this product so I don't know if I'd like or dislike it but I know I do not like the Machining process cuz it did not clean all the holes out and I cannot get the dowel pins in to hold Springs to assemble this product
