Once I found the directions it was easy to assemble and very sturdy!! (I didn't see the directions in the box so at first thought oh no !)My elderly mother will be happy with this product

Great for that little extra need for stability! I'm 76 with a bit of a knee problem...... I recently bought a small one-step stool just to help me reach my top cabinets and to eliminate the need to drag out my step ladder. I just felt a little uncomfortable and had to hang onto to a cabinet or counter top to feel stable whenever I stepped up onto it. But with THIS little step stool with a handle I easily stepped up and down feeling safe the whole time. Worth every penny. It was simple to assemble and although it folds up, it's small enough I can leave it set up and ready to go without it taking up a lot of kitchen space.

I use this to help me get into my suv. It’s lightweight and I lift it into the cab and place it on the floor of the passengers side. Lightweight but handles a lot of weight

Easy setup and the step is fine, but after returning my first purchase because it was defective, the second stool had the same issue, which is that it is very hard for even an adult to adjust the height of the handle and you have to press or pull very hard. It is not possible for a child to do so on their own and when watching the video, and I now realize they are probably all like this because the video shows a brief clip of a challenge, too.I’m keeping this because I cannot find any other options but would not recommend this on its own

This is a very dangerous product. It's smaller than it looks here, and the handle suddenly drops all the way, making a fall very real. Very scary. I don't know where to complain. I encouraged my step mother to purchase it. She explained how scared she was, when the handle fell and she was lucky not to fall. I thought she must be over reacting. I tried it and almost fell. I was shocked. We tried hard to lock the handle and it doesn't lock. It's too small for adults, as well. But that's besides the point. It's too late to send back? without a box, etc...

Very useful but the screws did not go in easily, like they were too big for the holes, but a friend managed to get them all the way in. Also the handle didn't click in the groove and would go down when I pushed on it [not great for an elderly person trying to balance] but, again, a neighbor managed to get it to click but had to stand on the platform and pull up really, really hard. Outside of those problems, it is now safe and perfect for what I inteded to use it for.

Easy to set up. Just right for me to reach the top cupboard shelf where I store larger items. Thought it would take up too much space if I left it unfolded. Plus, I use it a lot. I started setting my tall kitchen trach can on the step; problem solved. It is now easily accessible and out of the way when I don't use it.
