The step is 6" x 8", not 10" x 12" as indicated in the product details. The height is correct. It wasn't snapped together well when it arrived and fell apart.

I have arthritis so I used it to help me life myself into bed. It worked a few times and then it broke. So it really doesn't even deserve one star

In its description, it says NO ASSEMBLY but that is not true. You have to ooo and lock the top platform and it is difficult.
