This is a hazardous step stool! It broke while I was standing on it. I have the 16-inch version that is rated for 400 pounds. I weigh 185 pounds. See the picture.

Pick it up and it folds itself. So convenient and a little taller than most step stools.

If I had to do it over, I would not get the one with the dots. It hurts the bottom of my feet if I stand on it for even a short while. You need to always wear shoes or some kind of footwear.

I have a very difficult time standing up - bad knees - this stool is the perfect height to access low cupboards and reaching ground level without having to grab something to stand up. Highly recommend for old people like me. Plus, I live in under 500 Sq ft so space saving products are the best!
