I like the product a lot, I needed something to stand on the reach upper shelves but didn't know where to store it, this product makes a great stool so I just leave it under the bar so we can sit on it as well when I need extra seating. The only complaint I have is they didn't provide wood plugs to go over large screw holes.

Overall the item looks good but during assembly the top step cracked while screwing the screw in one side. I reached out to both Amazon and the supplier but got no resolution or response to my request to replace this piece.

The solid hard wood step stool has been a game-changer in our home. It's sturdy construction and easy assembly made it a breeze to set up, and the fold-out/fold-in step for easy stepping and storage has been so convenient. I love that it can also be used as a foot stool, and the pads on the bottom have prevented any scarring of our floors. While it did take some time to get the screws in just right, the end result is well worth it - this stool is perfect for reaching high shelves or getting into tight spaces.

I picked this step ladder up for our home library because the wood color matches our shelves. The stool went together easily and the bottom step pivots out of the way on a dowel mechanism (no hinges). I like that books can also be stored on it to style the room or it can be used as a chair. Versatile, elevated piece!

Perfect for our new house. We have high cabinets and hate those flimsy plastic stools that I hide in a cupboard. This is nice enough to leave out and makes to handy to use.

I needed a step stool to reach the top cupboard shelves and this one caught my eye because of the wooden material and the rather interesting configuration. The step stool arrives with full assembly required. The pieces were well packaged and the box included all hardware necessary for assembly as well as a set of instructions. I was able to assemble the step stool in about an hour or so with some slight issues along the way. The instructions are a bit difficult to follow as they have too many components added in a single step which made some steps a little more confusing. The included small screwdriver and an Allen wrench were helpful with the two main types of screws used. I did have issues towards the end with the Allen wrench as it got a bit chewed up from simple use. I also had some trouble installing the top step to the framework as not all of the screw holes lined up enough to be usable. All of that being said, once it was assembled it looked really nice and feels pretty sturdy. The wood is only somewhat scratch resistant and some marks were made where the bottom step rests against the frame when tucked in under the top step. Climbing up and down the stool is easy and I do feel secure even up on the top step reaching out to grab items from the upper shelves in our kitchen cupboards. My thoughts are a little mixed as I think construction could be improved a little and assembly could have been made easier but the finished product is sturdy and does its job well....

At the end of the day I love this step stool. It looks great if you have a place it is best to have a step stool out in the open. The stool has been sturdy in all the tests I have put it through and I am not a complete lightweight. If you are looking to climb on the top that is a high step but workable. There are definitely a few issue to note. There were several markings on the pieces but on my finished product none were noticeable. I do like that the labels for the various pieces were in areas that would not be seen. Directions looked like they were photocopied on a old copier with limited ink. They were not always as clear as I would like such as which directions angled should go. I have build enough items that this was not a problem for me but others should know to be careful. Also like many pieces you put together it is usually beneficial to loosely connect pieces and tighten in the end. The directions do not state this but it is necessary. I like that it had extra screws. The thicker screws use the included alan wrench. The wood screws use the included screw driver but I found my screwdriver did a better job of it. The wood screws they include have a finer thread and on one of the screws it ate the wood so the screw came right out. I replaced with a courser screw that I had and it made it much more secure. Overall though it was together in minutes and looks (and functions) perfectly.
