This is a great stool. It is stable and sturdy but then folds for easy storage. My 3-year-old climbs on it several times a day to wash her hands. Recommended!

I needed a little step stool to be able to water my hanging plants without getting myself all wet. I like that is doubles as a seat, too. Lightweight and easy.

Cute stool and folds as described but getting it to stay open can be problematic at times which is a safety concern.

Very sturdy, durable steps. I use them in the kitchen, outside, by my trailer. They open and close easily and have a professional, high quality look about them. These will work beautifully to ensure i can reach my high shelves and yet fold up easily to store when not in use. No more trying to balan e on a chair for me!Unfortunately did not fit in the space next to my fridge where I hoped to store them. But I will be keeping anyway! At 5'2", I truly appreciate the extra height!

This is my 2ed of this stool. The 1st is used for my children to get in and out of van and jeep. It folds down and hides away.I have used it too. I am not sure if it holds 250, but I have put nearly that much and it felt sturdy and didn't buckle.I got the this one to use around the house.I would definitely not recommend it being used around little children who may crawl on or touch it while it is being used as they may accidentally push sides or move step cover, causing injury.If it sides are not fully extended and steps not securely placed, it will collapse under weight and not only is it a fall hazard, it can cause injury to boby parts to those touching it when it collapses.

At first unfolding it to secure the step stool together, I was skeptical for it's claimed sturdy. I was wondering, how this can be safe for even 200 lbs, let alone 300 lbs capacity?I haven't had the confidence to get up on the higher step yet, but did use the 1st step, and it so far seems sturdy.I was looking for a foldable and affordable step stool, that I can also use it as it's listed, as a sitting stool. I've used it for a sitting stool now, to unpack moving boxes on floor, and it worked great!
