Loved the chair. Easy to put together. We have a 19" wide tub and needed something smaller in width. Folded easy but wish he back wasn't so loose. Would buy again.

I love the idea of this chair; small, foldable, padded. In practice, it's a horrible design and is dangerous. Just this morning, I was taking a shower. When I shifted my weight forward, it unlatched the lock underneath the seat. This caused the chair to fold up. I fell down and backwards hitting my head. I immediately threw this dangerous thing in the trash. I cannot believe someone hasn't died from one of these. Run away!

Don't try to follow assembly instructions. Simply look at the last picture and make the chair look like the picture.

I'm giving this a 2.5 star rating due to a safety concern. The base is sturdy and doesn't tip easily. It has no problems holding 175 pounds and should hold up to at least 250 if not the rated amount. The back is the safety concern since this chair is intended for people with mobility and/or stamina issues. There is no tension or latch that holds the back in the upright position. Just hitting the chair slightly usually causes it to fold down. This is a concern that the back will fold down while someone is trying to sit down and hits the base and the back folds down and the person will sit on top of the folded back and potentially fall off the back of the chair. If not for this safety concern, I'd give the chair a 4 star. The chair is comfortable enough to use for the "short" duration of a shower. The assembly was fairly easy and straightforward EXCEPT for the lower legs with the rubber feet. The instructions implied that those 4 pieces were interchangeable, BUT they are actually 4 unique pieces due to where the holes are drilled for the latches (i.e. each lower leg piece can only be installed in one place and you have to make sure to visually determine that before trying to install them). It seems like it should last a while.

I have been looking for a shower seat that has a back on it, no arms and folds for storing it away when it isnβt needed and this one checked all those boxes. It was pretty easy to put together, all the pieces were there and they included instructions. Itβs actually really sturdy even though itβs lightweight. I like the height of the back and the seat is quite comfortable. It states that itβll hold up to 420 pounds, Iβm not close to that so I canβt be sure but I really donβt think it would, and if it did I donβt think someone of that weight would find it very comfortable. Itβs easy to fold and is pretty compact when folded which is exactly what I was looking for. They included a hanging mesh shower bag and back scrubbing loofah, both are nice quality and are useful bonus items. Overall itβs been working out great for me and I think itβd be a good choice for anyone looking for a shower chair that has a back on it and folds for easy storage.

Meh! It's alright for a shower chair. Says it's rated for 420lbs. I am 200lbs and don't feel safe adjusting myself in this chair β not even a little. I wouldn't say this chair is up for excessive use, but it's a solid functioning chair for someone who needs it temporarily. The scrub brush it came with wasn't for me, but my husband found it useful. My husband said the chair was easy to assemble and took about 15 minutes. This chair allowed me to bend forward and allow hot water to release tension in my back, which was nice, but sitting for too long on this thing made my legs numb. The chair fit in our shower and it's easy to take in and out when needed. The top portion of the chair folds, but there is no locking mechanism so it just flops around. Overall a decent buy and I put it to good use daily, but not something I would go out of my way to buy again.

I have been using a shower chair without a back for over a year due to neurological balance issues. I recently had lumbar surgery, so I wanted something with back support. This wasn't the most straight-forward thing to assemble. It should have had clear, easy-to-follow instructions, but did not. It was guess work and took a while to erect, but I finally got it together. It is lightweight but seems sturdy enough, it does feel solid and secure. I really appreciate the support for my back to lean against. This makes me feel safer and allows me to stay in shower longer. All-in-all, I am pleased with this order. Clear, step-by-step instructions with diagrams would have been super helpful and saved time, but if you have patience and common sense, you will figure it out.

I was hoping this would come assembled and folded up in a box. No such luck. I am no stranger to do it yourself projects, but it still wasn't fast and easy. I had to do a little MacGyvering to finish the job.Once I got it put together, it satisfied my expectations. I needed a shower chair that would fit in my tub shower and the 13.6" width claimed in the vendor description was correct. I needed it to be lightweight and folding so it wouldn't be too difficult to move it out of the way whenever needed. I don't know what the actual weight limit might be for larger folk, but it was fine for my not too wide 170 lb frame. It doesn't wobble. That might be partly because of the tinkering I did while assembling to make it nice and stable. I feel that it was worth the time I spent on assembly. So far, so good.
