Just FYI, I am a retired professional athlete standing at 6' 11" in height and weigh 330lbs. My size should be a very important factor when you're thinking of purchasing this product. This is the perfect shower chair for anyone that's recovering from am injury, is elderly or possibly overweight. The facts that you can raise and lower the height to your specifications, ease of setup, shape & perforations of the seat, non-slip feet, very sturdy, and lastly the size is perfect for ANY standard or custom shower and/or tub.

This is a great shower seat. Built with Stability!! Not worried about it coming apart and falling. Soooo easy to put together. Just wish it was a little taller but it will do. Im 5' 6. That might be the tallest to feel comfortable. I don't think I could find a sturdier seat. Fits great in my tub and comfortable. One improvement would be to have the shower holder on the left had side. Shoulder replacement on the right so I'll have to figure something out. I highly recommend getting this seat.

Super easy to assemble. The legs pieces come pre-soldered, not screwed together. easy step by step instructions. Better construction than others.Drain holes throughout including the legs and rubber feet. Very solid. I'm 6'2, 225 and it works perfectly. Doesn't slip around, it stays in place. It fits in a standard bathtub and would be ideal for shower use as well. I love it.

Very sturdy chair and fits well in my small tub. I was a little concerned when my husband assembled it and I saw how low it is when legs are fully extended. I guess I skipped over this in the specifications when I placed my order. I’m 5’6” and it’s perfect for my height!

This Shower Chair is very well constructed and thought out. Our tubs are smaller than most and this fits well where other chairs were too wide. It has a hook on both sides of the seat to hold the shower sprayer so I don't have to stand up to get it down from its normal rail or put it back when not using it. There are also handles in both sides of the seat to help with sitting and getting up. It is height adjustable which is great for my 5 ft. body. And it will hold up to 500 lbs. This chair outshines the $200 chairs for functionality, especially at this great price!

Easy assembly. Light weight. I’m 6’2” and it’s a little short for me. It might be an issue if you have knee problems. Fits in a corner of the shower and is very stable. Great value for the price.

The primary user of this stool is 5'3" and 260 lbs. We have read all the reviews on all the other benches so you don't have to.We picked a stool style because the bathroom is extremely small. We have handrails in the shower, so the user doesn't need arms on a chair for assistance getting up and down. They also would enjoy letting the shower run down their back unimpeded by a chair back. We like the idea that the stool can serve multiple purposes, such as putting it next to the bed to sit on while folding laundry, etc.Our number two pick was a round stool with similar cross-bar support. But that one (oh-ay-sis) had some bad reviews about missing holes or parts making it very hard to construct, and that the cross-bar blocked the legs in a way that you cannot shorten the legs to the lowest few notches. There is no way the instructions could have been easeir! The unit arrived well packaged and what few parts there are were clearly labeled. Be sure to examine the screws because 5 of them are the same, and one sixth one is shorter. The shorter one has a specific placement in the cross bars. Assembly was easy peasy with no tools required. One very minor issue I had was a rough spot where extra sodder was left behind. This was on the underside of the cross bar where it joins the leg. Once assembled, this spot would not really be visible and probably never be touched. But, safety first, so i spent about a minute with a nail file soothing it out before assembling. No other issues, and I have never had anything easier to assemble. The bench is absolutely stable and easily holds 260 lbs.Of course the thighs of the person using it extend a bit beyond the width of the seat (another reason to not have attached arms on the unit). However, there is no discomfort associated with this. This was the right choice because a wider bench would overwhelm our very tiny bathroom. When searching for the right bench/stool, we also took into consideration whether or not any of the user reviews verified the stool's weight capacity. Other than Hiqufet, only the oh-ay-sis round stool had a reviewer weighing in over 250 lbs. However, as mentioned earlier, that item had poor feedback on assembly, customer support, and non-function of the leg height adjustment. There is a "newer" Hiqufet stool that appears to be identical to this one except that it has a purple seat. So I would recomend that one as well if you like purple.I will report back if continued use cause us to form other insights/opinions. For what it is, this stool is kind of perfect -- exactly as advertised. Oh, and Customer Care has already reached out to make sure everything has been to our satisfaction. I guess they are looking for things to do since they probably never get complaints LOL
