Very pleased with seat. Easy to put together, sturdy, adjustable height. Husband needed a bath seat after hip surgery. Ordered this because I was hoping it could serve double duty as a regular chair because the recliner he was using was too hard to get in and out of. My only concern was only whether this one would be too low to the ground. It was not too low and has made his recovery much easier.

My wife had hip surgery this past summer, and this shower chair was a very important part in her recovery process. It is sturdy and easy to build. A high quality item. Highly recommended!!!

I bought this after my hip arthroscopy and its been an amazing tool. I am 5'9 so its the only chair I could sit on to keep above that 90 degree angle required. Very sturdy in the shower, quick dry off, quick assembly. I will likely be using it at my dinner table for my regular chair from now on lol.

Needed a shower chair for my hip surgury recovery program Saw a few at medical stores but was shocked at the prices. Did some research and selected this Sangohe unit. I weigh 100kg so I need a sturdy unit with a wide and comfortable seat. This unit was easy to assemble and its light but very robust. Our shower stall is not huge but this chair fits fine. Love the unit and the price was great. Buying this unit was a better deal that renting a lesser quality unit for 3 weeks ! Glad I bought it !!

The shower chair was easy to assemble and I had no trouble as I followed the very clear instructions with photos of each step. The only tool needed is a screwdriver which is included. It was ready to use in less than ten minutes after I opened the box.The chair is very sturdy. It doesn't wobble at all. The back makes it very comfortable to use and makes using it seem safer because the patient won't tip backwards off the chair. If the back isn't wanted it comes right off by pushing in the pop-up buttons that hold it in place and pulling it off.The two arm rests have foam at the top that help to cushion them and also give a better, more secure grip when sitting or getting up. They also can be removed by just pushing in the pop-up buttons. The seat is slightly contoured where the legs rest and that makes it much more comfortable. The seat is a textured plastic that isn't slippery but is still easy to clean.The legs adjust up or down by the same pop-up button system so I was able to customize it to exactly the right height for the user. After it was no longer needed I discovered that the legs were holding some water inside so I had to pop off the bottom pieces of the legs and let it drain for a day before storing it away.I highly recommend this chair for use in a larger shower but think it might be too big to use in a standard bathtub because the legs widen as they get farther from the seat. That widening makes it more sturdy but also give it a larger footprint.

I needed a shower chair post surgery. This chair was easy to assemble with a use of a tool that was included. The seat high adjustability is a key to my post surgery recovery. This product is well designed and feels sturdy. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is that when we opened the box the chair and the instructions had an odd, tobacco like odor. I looked for information pertaining the the type of plastic used and have not been able to find any information stating that the plastic is medical grade and non toxic. This was concerning due to the incision infection control. We rinsed the product very well and I laid a towel on the seat just in case. Otherwise this chair performs well.
