I bought this as a gift for my dad for outdoor activities, especially yard work. Great quality, easy to use, comfortable and compact for transportation. Even my 3yr daughter uses it with the height adjustment! I would definitely recommend this stool for anyone.

I bought this item right before the packs unplugged event in Philadelphia. This helped me to stand in very long lines for autographs with the celebrities that came. It was lightweight, small enough to fit in my backpack or attachable to my backpack. I weigh 270 pounds and it was very firm and strong the cushion that came with. It was very soft and durable wonderful item.

I found out about this product at a fair and it was recommended I purchase the square top version for more surface area of the seat. There is a round top version as well. The stool just opened and closed so easily but I never made the purchase. Then I started seeing these seats everywhere. The round top version the square top version in different colors! Then I just had to have one. I am going to conventions and there is no place to sit. With so many hours on your feet it’s best to know you have a chair available and just bring your own! I have had different stools but this one is much more portable and compact. This chair was just what I needed and it included a padded top. I was sold! The price was right and I got it very quickly. It is just the right height for what I need and the quality is excellent. This chair is very versatile and works for a stepping stool a chair in a pinch and I will bring it to will bring it to the next convention!

I was telling everyone about this amazing device that could hold up to 500 pounds. Fortunately I wasn't at that weight milestone (or millstone) but on the "weigh". It got me through a trip through a smallish airport where I needed to sit after a couple minutes of walking because my back and legs cramp up from lumbar stenosis (compression of the spinal nerves). I wasn't sure if there would be a seat where I would need one walking from the plane all the way to luggage. With this clever compact lightweight device I always had a seat with me. It was right there for me when I needed it. Hey, it got me there and home again having used it a couple times when I needed it. I thought about using in the slow grocery store once I was home but was perhaps too embarrassed. So I really didn't use it when it would have been helpful (out of pride). Finally I had another opportunity needing to sit while I watered some plants all around me in my yard -- the perfect thing although I could have dragged a chair out but this made sense and i was excited to use it again. I opened it up and locked it and sat down and started and within 5 seconds -- BANG CRASH ROLL -- I was toppled over on the ground. It took me a moment to even figure out what had happened -- the device had collapsed. It had proved itself capable during that first trip but now a few months later it was no longer viable -- the locking spiral had broken and collapsed and sent me flying. Now months after purchase I figure there is nothing I can do although I have not looked to see if there is perhaps a one-year warranty? I'll check. I really want to recommend this item and it was amazing until it was useless which was not a very long time. There are other brands but this one seemed to have the best possibly real reviews. It's a brilliant design if it can do what it claims -- and do it more than once!!!

I am a recovering cancer survivor. My endurance is nowhere near what it used to be, but I've made strides in the past year. We were scheduled for a guided tour of the Getty Villa, a phenomenal museum in the Malibu area. It involved lots of walking and standing. My brilliant wife remembered seeing this kind of pop-up stool; we found several choices on Amazon, and selected the aboutool Folding Camp Stool. It's light weight, comes with a convenient and well-made carrying bag, and the padded seat is high quality foam. In three words, it saved me. Easy to set up and break down discretely with a little practice. it will get used in many places in the future, no doubt. On that day it was the difference between exhaustion and enthusiastically enjoying the entire three-hour tour (cue the Gilligan's Island theme). If you need something like this, its worth every penny, and the aboutool comes highly recommended.

This is perfect for anywhere you have to stand in line or if you need to take a quick rest. Opens and closes easily and seems sturdy. Lightweight easy to grab and go
