In the last 12 months, I've cut a lot of foam in various ways. Plain old knife, razor blades, hot-wire-cutters, and even an electric knife. This is by far my favorite now, and I wish I had it long ago.A press of the button, and the blade gets hot FAST. From there you can cut quickly, precisely, and/or cleanly. It makes cutting foam so much easier than all of the other methods I've used so far.I do have a couple critiques.1) There weren't any instructions in the box. It's a simple device, but the first time I used it I squeezed the trigger not sure if I was doing it right and said to myself "well, here goes nothing"2) The long blades don't seem to clamp under the screws properly. They're too narrow to fit under both the top and bottom screws properly. If you only secure it under one side, it won't heat up. Maybe I'm missing something, but that's where instructions would be useful.3) It's not clear which direction the dial should go to be warmer or cooler.I'm very happy with the device itself, and hope they start including instructions in future deliveries.
