This product does the job, and provides a decent level of confort considering how thin and compact it is, which is great for backpacking.

I bought this pad as a comparison to the overpriced name brand pads on the market. I was very surprised to find that it was just as good and possibly better in some ways. The closed cell foam is very similar, not quite as dense but comfortable and warm. A couple things stand out for me besides the great price. #1 this is a wider pad than the others, roughly 3". This is great to keep your arms from sliding off the pad and touching the ground. The other is thet included extra straps to hold it together. This makes it much easier to store and pack. The price is the biggest benefit, so much cheaper than the fancy name brand. Buy this pad and save your pennies for a better backpack! 10 stars!!

Bought it to use as a double layer under my inflatable sleeping pad when back country hunting. Noticeably warmer at night but also nice to just throw on the pack to use as a glassing pad for long glassing sessions on damp / snowy ground.

I bought these for my first trail camping trip with my kids. They were in a tent and I was in my hammock with a sleeping bag and thermal liner. I wanted my kids to have a comfortable experience so they would want to go with me again. So I was up for buying ‘luxury items’ for them. We descended into a valley by a mountain river- you know, cold air settles. Three hours into the night I was cold in my hammock. I tossed and turned trying to get warm but felt the cold creeping up my legs and arms. When I finally got up to pee my core was shivering along with the rest of my body. Now, I know hypothermia when I see it and I wasn’t going there tonight! I shuffled into the two person tent with my kids and curled up on the bottom of my daughter’s pad. I immediately felt the heat from my body radiating back to me. I relaxed and slept so soundly. I’ll forever pack these pads with me when camping. So toasty! We also used them as situpons when cooking, eating, and relaxing. Perfect price and very satisfied with the product.

I brought these to Alaska camping and they were easy to pack. I especially loved being able to pull them out on my raft and sit on them on the cooler to stay comfortable. They didn’t tear or warp. Great price!

This product works like more expensive products at outdoor stores. I found it suitable. On the other hand, it doesn't off great comfort and it's not for sleeping on snow. It is a minimalist pad, that's lightweight for backpacking. I found that it was excellent for camping on frozen ground underneath my inflatable NEMO Tensor air mattress. It protected the air mattress and added just enough R-Value to make winter camping on the Appalachian Trail enjoyable.
