The mat provides some cushioning and its reflective nature some comfort. I think they are good mats but they are not durable. On the floor of a camping tent with a cot on top they will rip and tear. With only non shoe foot traffic and on unobstructed surface they are probably better.

This mat fits perfectly in the Featherstone UL Granite 2P. It's thick enough to help protect the tent floor from damage, and also helps reflect more body heat to keep you warmer in cold nights. I used this with a 3.5 R value pad and 25°F quilt and I was comfortable in 40°F temps. It doesn't pack down as small as a space blanket, but it's light weight and doesn't make much noise when walking on it. It seems to be made very well and should last a long time.

Bought this mat ahead of a weekend camping trip where it unexpectedly reached 40 degrees with strong winds. The insulation worked great, and I didn’t feel any cold air coming up from underneath the air mattress! I touched the mat itself in the morning, and it didn’t feel cold at all. The larger size left room to spare underneath a queen size air mattress, yet was small enough to fit into the four-person tent. The mat folded right back into its stuff sack when I was done. Definitely will be taking it camping again.

I use in my tent. Thinner than the other one I have but works all right. Could be perfect if it can come in 1p,2p tent size.

I thought this was nice. There are definitely better ones but I would buy this again.
