First time I used it, black rubbed off when I dried it. Wish I would have returned it.

Unfortunately, I had to throw this out. I followed directions as indicated. The first meal I cooked the rice stuck to the pan and then the finish came off. Not happy. I would not purchase again. I threw it in the garbage. A big waste of money.

I was skeptical about this purchase. I have been using this wok for 2 months now and I love using it to cook. The only downfall is it has started peeling.

I don’t know my cookware enough to tell you why this is a good wok. But i’ve made better food since I’ve been cooking with this wok.I’ve also set my smoke detector off trying to season the wok initially so watch the temp and don’t let it get too hot if you don’t want to deal with the smoke .I do season my wok each time after use.

When you get the wok, you need to attach the handle which goes on by twisting the ring on the handle to the contact threads on the wok. The wok I had was poorly aligned and took a bit to get the screw into the threading as the screw was angled up and had to be forced down while pressing into the threads until they catched. Even after fully screwing on, the handle started to loosen after a few uses. This is a safety hazard. Imagine transferring the wok full of hot oil for frying and the handle fell off? Yikes. In addition, I personally did not like the hammer design. It interfered with the stirring and mixing motions I'm used to as food, sauce or seasoning out "catch" in the grooves of each in dent. Not a big issue, but it's an issue I don't have to deal with when using a traditional wok. Especially since I did not find it helpful in any way from speed to temp, heat distribution or cleaning. The non-stick was okay, but not exceptional. It does what you would expect. Could you cook an egg without sticking? Probably not, but you'd have bigger problems with the in dents.
