This is great it's allowing me to do great hand held shots on my short films. The only problem I'm having is drawing back up the rope holding the camera. By the way every bit of video equipment in the picture was purchased on Amazon

I love the feeling of not having all the weight in my shoulders.

It's a little chintzy but gets the job done on smaller cameras. Doesn't include the spring arm.

I finally pulled the trigger on getting this for myself and my shooting needs. Admittedly, I hesitated investing in this despite knowing the advantages for years. It was just never me that needed it until now.Literally take the weight off my shoulders and allows a near hand-free navigation of my particular rig.I have BMPCC6K Pro with a Canon 24-105 on a decent shoulder rig and I shoot a lot of things that require a lot of dynamics. So I've opted to setup a wireless follow focus trigger on my left finger, while I "pull" zoom on my right hand with a manual focus wheel. The result is an ENG style gathering with a cinema camera that works incredibly for what I do.This FLYCAM takes all the weight and allows it to float above me so I can focus on pulling both my focus ring and zoom.If you're a single-shooter this starter vest is well worth the investment, especially considering others are double or even triple the price (for obvious reasons).

I used to rent a whole ronin vest apparatus for $100 a day, so thought might be time to actually buy one. When I saw the price, I was worried it would be a bad product like “you get what you pay for” kind of thing. But this product checks out. The quality is amazing, it’s even BETTER than the $5K one I used to rent. Good job!

After receiving the defective item, I contacted the seller. They offered to replace a newer version. The upgraded Flowline starter vest has much better quality. Tension knob has a better design and the quality is also much better. A+ for Proaim customer serivce & support team. Highly recommended.

I’m a videographer shooting mainly music videos. If you’re debating buying this, I would say do it. Personally I was sick of caring a heavy camera through multiple scenes. And this was perfect. The price is very good compared to others I’ve seen. Great quality

It does the job, simple as that. Adds that great stability for a smooth yet still desired handheld look, which I wanted. And most importantly for me: it offers great back and arm relief.I can't imagine spending up to 3-5x this amount on some other brands/models (which are mostly more expensive to support heavier camera rigs, from what I see). The functionality and engineering of something like this is so simple; but I can't talk since I am not able to build one of these myself. This is also my first vest, so I have no other basis of comparison. I am using with a rigged up GH5S and a BMPCC6K interchangeably. I am curious as to what benefit buying the additional "spring" attachment for the arm would be though.

Product works as advertised, be mindful I’m 6’2” and if I stand straight up I maybe have an inch of clearance from the top bar. I'm also thin somaybe that makes it ride up on me? Mine is turned to the right at 30 degrees so not sure where the straight models are but its not an issue for meOverall very happy with the product, although where ever this was stored it smells like a 4 pack a day smoker was near it for months. As a former smoker it was hard to handle but have since air freshened the hell out of it so if you have high end clients on a shoot around order in advance to air out.

its a great budget easyrig...the angled top frame is not a mistake, its angled because thats how its supposed to be used. however a flexibility to change it would have been nice. regardless it does the job well.
