Probably one of the great invention to rid of flying pest during outdoor gathering. The fan will stop when you try to reach for food and re-engage when you pull your hand out. For a full size picnic table I used 8 of these fans, probably could have gotten away with 6 fans to cover the area.

Living in Florida means constantly dealing with flies , especially during the hotter months. We decided to try this fan style fly repellent , and we couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s incredibly effective the flies simply stay away.The best part is that is quiet and doesn’t interrupt our conversations when we are on the patio. Plus it’s much safer that cintronella candles or chemical sprays, and it truly gets the job done!

I placed one outside, next to my husband's grill so he can set the tray of meat aside while opening the grill to prevent those annoying, nasty, flies from settling in. The next ones were inside on the charcuterie table and another hanging on one of the fixtures over the bar. The best and super cute!

These little fans are great. I bought them for a picnic with friends. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. The flies were nowhere to be found! Thanks to the flexible center post you can tilt the fan so it stays out of the way. For the typical six foot table seating six people, we used three fans and that was perfect spacing for us.One concern I had was how rigid the blades would be since there were little ones in our party. That concern vanished immediately when I ran these the first time. They are very gentle and in no way are they harmful. So, in addition to being an effective fly deterrent, they provide quiet entertainment for the kiddos (and adults)!The fans worked so well that I plan to take a couple with me when I go out to eat at local restaurants with outdoor seating! Maybe the restaurants will catch on and start to use them to improve their outdoor dining experience.I definitely recommend these fans.
