I got a similar Comfort Zone brand fan around May 2020, but a 12" fan size and metal frame. It continues to work really well for almost 3 years now, and I usually keep it running on low for 8-12+ hours EVERY DAY... When sleeping, I like to have some air movement and ambient white noise from a fan (highly prefer over white noise machine). The old honeywell fan I had is going bad, and their newer models are 25% quieter (and I agree, since family member had one). I tried 2 other fans, plus this one since I liked my previous Comfort Zone fan.Using this fan on the "High" setting barely moves any air at all, seriously. It's like using other comparable fans of similar size on Low or even less. This fans medium and low settings are pointless. The motor also makes a slight ticking noise, but I only hear/notice it within roughly 3 feet.

This fan is loud. It does what is says, and moves a lot of air. It is light weight, but is primarily intended to point up and not down from a higher surface.

I bought this fan for a 2nd home/condo in houston, tx and it is perfect for my needs. It's small and moves a lot of air. I have the comparative Honeywell Turbo fan at my other home in CA and this fan makes a slight humming noise; whereas the Honeywell Turbo fan sounds like a plane is landing. I highly recommend this fan for the amount of air it moves and it's low decibel noise. It makes noise, just not as loud as others. If you want a quiet fan, I recommend getting those bladeless dyson fan for $100s of dollars.
