The title and pics aren’t entirely accurate. Mine came with a cleaning rod and two small black cloths that are basically glasses cleaning cloths. And sure, I guess you could rub them on the outside of your flute and call it polishing, but there was no dedicated silver polishing cloth. Maybe give this a miss. Unless you need a cleaning rod and two glasses cloths?

This would be a great and helpful tool if your looking for a flute cleaner. I however spotted it and immediately ordered it without even reading it over a bit more. I got this to clean my recorder and that did not work out. Make sure you are wanting this cleaner to clean your flute and not a recorder or any other instrument. This mistake I made was my fault, but this took a week to arrive and only came with on cloth. Ok for the most part.

I am new to playing he flute and needed a simp,e solution for cleaning the inside. This is compact, easy to use and I like that it came with a few cloths.

I play the Irish flute which has a much more narrow bore than a typical silver, concert flute. So, the cleaning rod is a bit too thick for that type of flute. But I can’t really blame the company because they don’t make them for Irish flutes. Otherwise everything with it is fine.

Ordered this as a replacement cleaning rod for a soprano recorder and it's too large to easily get all the way into the bottom or up into the mouthpiece section.Otherwise, it feels very sturdy, exactly the shape I was expecting, seems completely fine. Just. Make sure if you're ordering it, you're planning on using it for an instrument larger than a soprano recorder.
