Have a V6 Mustang and was worried about it sounding raspy or having bad pop when revving. These FlowFX mufflers create a really nice deep tone that sounds very aggressive. I didn’t want drone because it’s a commuter and once it’s broken in it’s really not bad at all. The videos on YouTube of this exhaust don’t do it justice. Sounds really good. Definitely got the job done.

Installed this on a 1998 GMC K1500. Has a 350sbc with long tube headers and a true duel exhaust. Replaced a generic oem style muffler I had installed with the headers. Sounded ok but I wanted some classic flowmaster 40s. Took a gamble on these ones instead as it's still flowmaster. My only complaint is somehow my truck with a chevy small block sounds like a cousin to a crappy mustang. Will be going the classic 40 route soon

I put this on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I love the sound. Not too loud until you romp on it. No drone at all on the freeway. Makes me feel like a kid again. LOL

Replaced my muffler on my '03 3.4 monte carlo with this. Installed near the tailpipe where the stock one was. Went from dead silent to a very nice and loud low exhaust tone. It was better than I even expected it to be, actually.

Installed on my 1996 Thunderbird with 4.6 V-8. Deleted original mufflers and replaced them with turn downs. Car was too loud inside and had a horrible drone at highway speeds. Installed this near the fuel tank under the factory heat shield. Fit nicely but I did have to shorten the flanges on each end of the muffler by about 2 inches on each side. Took the outside sound down as well as the drone in the cabin. Price for this all stainless glass pack is only about $5 above an aluminized steel unit from other name brands and should last much longer so it’s a decent value for the price.I can now drive down the road and have a conversation without having to shout to be heard

when i tell you it had me smiling like a little kid on Christmas... believe me. I have a resonator delete with this muffler and it sounds soo good. You can always hear the exhaust which I love, and is a really nice sound when revving high. It has a warble to it so it makes my 4cyl sound like a V6. I do sometimes find it annoying when highway driving and revving 3K+ but ah well its worth it the other 95% of the time. I leave for work early in the morning and my dad says to not be so loud, but I stay under 3K cuz i dont wanna wake ppl.Point being its an awesome exhaust if you're a young car enthusiast who loves loud pure exhaust sounds

The five stars are for the build quality, and the speed of shipping. This is a resonator, meaning that it helps smooth out the raspiness of your exhaust pulses. It doesn't really do much, if anything - to quiet the exhaust. It's not meant to, because r-e-s-o-n-a-t-o-rIf you cut off your muffler and slap this resonator on your car in its place, you are going to annoy your neighbors, and likely the nice police officer who comes to speak with you about the decibel level at which your recently modified exhaust is operating.So - on my Fiat 500, with a 1.4l motor, there is a catalyctic converter, a large resonator after that, and then, near the end of the exhaust; this smaller resonator. It's not obnoxiously loud, and it's not nearly as loud as the guy with the Honda (Header, no cat, furt-can on the back) a few blocks over... But your idea of what sounds good and what doesn't may vary.And yes, I spelled it furt-can instead of fart-can, because Amaze-on will put the kaibash on me!
