I am truly impressed what I got for the price! After 8 yrs of Cummins straight pipe I needed something to dial it down. Installation was very quick. I bought two band clamps that are holding it extremely tight. Fairly heavy muffler so I think it should last a long time. Welds look amazing. The muffler slid right over the factory 4” exhaust pipe, no beating or 🤬ing. Probably not factory quiet but ALOT quieter and the drone is gone. 5 stars, recommend to a friend!

This muffler looks, fits, and sounds just like the name brand mufflers that cost $150 more. I'm very pleased.

The design and quality is the same as name brand muffler/resonators costing 2-3 times more. It bolted right in place of a 4”x30” straight pipe and the sound/level is so much better. No longer any annoying “drone” at highway speeds and I can even listen to the radio.

Appears to be great quality. Since it’s a straight through resonator, it doesn’t quiet noise very much but greatly reduces to obnoxious exhaust noise. Would purchase again

4" straight piped my Dodge Cummins 5.9 and it was extremely loud and had a nasty raspy sound though to my surprise was very manageable in-cab (no drone). I purchased a Flo-Pro twister to remove the raspyness, which it did, but it introduced a lot of drone in-cab.Today I removed the Flo-Pro twister and installed this in its place. It did two things - removed the rasp and quietened it down with nearly no drone.It actually made it quieter than I was hoping, I really liked that rumble cruising around town, just hated the drone I had on the hwy.Overall it was a great value for the price, especially considering other brands like MBRP, Flo-Pro and Diamond Eye charge nearly triple for their mufflers. Another plus since I've done my exhaust mods is seen a decent increase in mileage, getting a bit over 400 miles to a tank compared to about 350 before.

I have to start off with this is not by any means a quiet muffler, but it will take the harsh edge off of a straight pipe. I put a full 4" system on my 91 Dodge Cummins, and it had an awful, mind numbing drone at cruising speed. This is the same dimensions as the muffler that would have come with my system had I not chosen the delete pipe, so it fit right in perfectly. It took away the drone away in that range, and honestly I cant tell a difference at idle between this and the straight pipe, but that wild banshee scream when you full throttle it is also tamed down pretty good but again not too quiet.

Bought this to drop inline on a straight piped Powerstroke 6.7. The exterior noise, especially the turbo 'whoosh' at idle, got on my nerves after awhile so I looked around for a muffler to drop in. Saw a video of this one on Youtube and the sound seemed about what I wanted.This is a good quality piece for the money, well made with good welds and came packaged well. I'd say it cuts turbo sound at idle by about half which is just what I wanted. The sound in cab was never that loud even straight piped so it's even less now. Unfortunately it has some drone above 70 mph or around 1900-2000 rpm. Since most of my driving is interstate this is probably going to be a deal killer for me and I may look at the Aerojets. If you don't do alot of interstate driving though and you're looking to quiet down your 6.7 this is a great bargin....Aerojet will be 3 times as much.
