This is the best pool thermometer I've ever owned! The numbers are so large and easy to read, it's accurate and doesn't fog up. Plus it looks so cool floating in my pool! LOL!

I really like this. The temperature is easy to read and the little whale is cute. However the blue color on the whale started to fade pretty quickly. I expected it to fade eventually since it's in direct sunlight while floating in the Pool all day, but perhaps not so quickly (it's faded more on the bottom, so the chlorine is probably to blame more than the sunlight). I'd still recommend this though. It wasn't very expensive and functions well. I don't mind so much that it faded fast. It's just a lighter shade of blue.

Not sure if the thermometer actually worked or if my pool was 85 degrees EVERY time I checked. My biggest gripe is that the string provided fell apart in the pool right after the return window closed. One morning, I went out to check the pool and the thermometer was gone. When I pulled up the string the thermometer was attached to, it fell apart in my hands. We eventually found the thermometer jammed in the pool filter. Luckily no real damage done. Our pump isn't even set to high and we keep our pool chemicals balanced. Didn't even last the summer.

I have waited a while to even buy another one of these because the other one seemed like it was working fine. But then when I got this one I realized how much I've been suffering without knowing how hot my swimming pool really is and it was too hot. So I'm really glad that I got this because I needed it and now I know exactly what the temperature is and how to keep it exactly where I want it to be. So yes, it's very cute and I recommend you buy one if you need it

I would recommend this product. It just floats around the pool and doesn't have any issues. Temp reading is right on and does not get stuck in the side skimmer. Super happy!
