It is easily assembled and the color is as advertised. The desk chair is very comfortable and easy to adjust. It is truly ergonomic. It is worth every penny we spent on it.

All of the hardware was very good quality. The steel components are thick and plenty strong. The plastic parts were thick and strong too. This should be a durable chair. The integral coat hanger seems a bit goofy for home office use, but I may find a use for it. It's not in the way so it's not a problem. It would be nice if the assembly instructions were larger with bold print so I didn't need to use a magnifying lens for my old eyes. The fasteners should have been bagged for each step instead of all loose in the box for me to sort and divine which fasteners went where. The instructions were no help here either.I left the arm rests off the previous two office chairs but I installed them this time. The hard plastic is slick and my forearms slide off to the outside. The main reason I installed them was to complement a couple of nice features on the new chair. It has a headrest and it reclines. Without a headrest I could never use the reclining feature. I thought the arm rests would make it more comfortable to recline, so my arms had some support. I'm 6' 2", and even in the highest position, the headrest hits me on my shoulders and the base of my neck when sitting upright, which is a minor annoyance, but when I recline it supports my head almost as high as I'd like it to be. This chair is comfortable enough when reclining that I can sleep in it when I lower the seat so the floor acts as a footrest. My office is hot in the summer so the all mesh construction should be more comfortable in the warmer months, in addition to being more durable with no foam to compress and break down over time. I can easily clean it with soap and water if needed but the plastic mesh should be stain resistant. This mesh chair should look new longer than a fabric covered foam chair.I may 3D print some rubbery slip on covers for the slick hard plastic armrests.

Is this perfect for a small office? I was looking for an inexpensive way to get top-range comfort and this was rated extremely high on multiple review sets including Tom's hardware, A trusted name in product reviews. This chair was easy to put together. It came with all of the necessary bolts, screws and ratchets and took less than 10 minutes to assemble. It's super lite, It rolls extremely well. It's adjustable for different sizes of people. For a small area like mine and the need for comfort ticks all the boxes. The only negative is the height adjustment of the headrest maxes out for people 6 ft or under. Being exactly 6 ft. I feel like it is a couple centimeters too low.

note: some assembly required! it takes a little elbow grease to get the parts jammed in and i spent some time on it but well worth the effort and it just means it is a sturdier and solidly built product that will hold up to force in the long run. i absolutely love this chair! it is incredibly comfortable and better than anything i've ever sat in (and i've sat in many many office chairs in my lifetime). it provides tons of support but doesn't hurt my boney buttocks or back. the only 2 small dings i'll give it are (1) i wish the base and wheels were metal for longer durability but i think the tradeoff is weight and (2) the mesh is very "drafty" so it let's air flow and doesn't keep my back warm... that being said, i think most people would interpret that more as a feature than a bug since like i said, i'm pretty skinny so i think most others would rather appreciate the cooling air flow of the mesh! the biggest selling point for me is the recline that i can lock in place... makes it very useful and perfect for midday naps :)

PROS: 1) Easy to assemble, sturdy, ergonomic support. Some reviews have noted the distance between the lumbar support and the mesh back as being too great, but the mesh itself has offered me great support, so I've not really had to fiddle with this. 2) I bought this because the seat and back are both mesh, hoping it would be cooler with more airflow -- and it is; wooden seats and cushioned seats I've used have made me noticeably hotter as the day went on. This chair doesn't have that issue. Exactly why I bought it.CON: 1) Not much of a negative, but because the seat is mesh and can't sit up higher than the edges of the frame the mesh is attached to, the seat frame can sometimes feel a bit more present pressing against the outsides of your thighs. (A cushion extends above the seat frame sides and doesn't exhibit this.) It's not bad, but occasionally I notice it. Not enough to drop my rating to a 4 star.UPDATE: Several months later, the seat wobbles side to side in the base. Feels unsteady. Will update again if it becomes a bigger problem.UPDATE 2: 2.5 years later, the ring in the base where the piston sits has cracked, causing the seat to wobble significantly more from side to side, like to the point where you wonder if you'll fall over in the middle of using it. This is because the housing where the piston rests is plastic. The stated seat weight capacity was not exceeded. I'm throwing out this chair and purchasing a different chair that is of more sturdy construction, and with actual lumbar support.

I have been searching for a chair for my home desk for about 3 months now. This was my third one and it was worth it! Ergonomic mesh chairs are hard to find under $300. The ones under $300 have terrible reviews. This chair is affordable (less than $200 was my goal) and seems to be made of quality material. So far, I've had no stretching of the mesh (this was a huge problem on reviews for other chairs) and that adjustability makes this chair great for different needs. I have found even if the chair is not tall enough to have proper typing stance (elbows 90 degrees or slightly more open), the armrests can be raised so you're able to have your elbows above the keyboard. The standard recline of the chair is nice -- not too far back, but it is adjustable if you want more of a recline. My biggest complaint is that the lumbar support does not actually touch your back (at least for me weighing less than 150lbs). You have to apply quite a bit of pressure to feel that support bar, but the mesh isn't too loose so this isn't a huge problem. At full height of chair, anybody 5'6 or less should get a foot rest for proper posture. Overall, great chair and so glad I found it.
