I ran probably 6 extention cords in this box during halloween/ christmas so plenty of rain and snow and have no issues with water . Does what it says and more than fair on the price

I had no idea these things existed. This is awesome! Works great. Found a power strip that fits it well and couldn't be happier. I've had it for a few months now and it's remained dry through some pretty crazy storms here in Tennessee.

This size meets the needs I had due to the size. Is used for outside lighting that gets Spray from Sprinklers and rain. the cords are stiff and bulky so there was plenty of room to accomidate that.

The product was purchased to keep electrical connections dry for outdoor ceiling fans, and LED string lights permanently mounted in a gazebo. We are confident that this product will do the job well. There were enough feed throughs to spare for the two fan cords, one cord from a string of lights, and the power supply cord. There was enough room in the enclosure to fit all of the cord connectors, and an adapter to split incoming power into three sockets. The enclosure itself is easy to open and close via a set of latches. The entire enclosure is gasketed, including the feedthroughs, making it weather resistant. The enclosure includes built in mounting tabs that allow one to hang the enclosure on two screws, without compromising the weather resistance of the enclosure (one doesn't necessarily have to drill holes in the box to mount it). It would be nice if the enclosure had a couple more mounting options. By default the enclosure's mounting tabs allow for a horizontal installation with the feedthroughs facing down. In our application we wanted the feedthroughs facing up (it's under a roof of sorts, so we aren't worried about water sitting on top of the feedthroughs). To get the feedthroughs facing up, we ended up drilling two mounting holes in the enclosure. A vertical mounting feature would also be nice, if one wanted the feedthroughs facing horizontally.

I have this outdoor electrical box for over a year now and it works as expected. I only have one or two items in it at any time but it keeps them perfectly dry. I've used this for outdoor holiday decorations and it stands up to rain, wind, and snow without missing a beat.

Mounted this near my front door to house a full-size powerstrip, a low voltage LED walkway lighting transformer, an LED dimmer module, a Kasa smart-plug, and several power cords for water feature, photocell controller for spotlights, and seasonal lights feed. Everything fit easily in the weatherproof tote and mounting it was a breeze. Have had to open it a couple times to add things and it's been very easy to open and seal back up again. Quality materials used, expect it to last quite a while. It looks so much nicer than a messy pile of cords and plugs laying on the ground.

I have 4 of these that I use around the holidays for my lighting and inflatables. Saying this is waterproof may be a bit extreme. It will probably not stand up to being placed under water. It's designed to keep normal amounts of rain off of your electrical connections. I place mine flat on the ground and they have worked fine in my environment in TN.It DOES NOT include a power supply. It's a box. It's not a power supply. You can put a power strip in it or just use it to cover where a plug plugs into an extension cord.It probably would not do well if burried. That would bring low amounts of water up to the openings where the wires go in and cause it to become submerged.One main thing that bugs me and it's probably just me being stupid, but I'm assuming the zip-ties are to help hold large wires that don't really want to flex into the opening for the box to make it easier to keep them in place when you close the lid. I haven't been able to figure out how to make that work yet. But maybe that's not what they are for, or I'm just not seeing something. Either way, large gauge wires 10 or 12 are difficult to make bend for sharp corners so they have a tendency to move where they want to while you are closing the lid, making wire management a bit of a pain. But it's nothing that can't be taken care of with a little patience.In closing, I love these and will be buying a few more as my decorations grow this year.
