These are excellent little boxes. I used one as a 110vac junction box inside a media blaster cabinet to drive several IP68-rated LED lamps.

These were used to add an additional layer of protection from the elements on outdoor lighting power supplies. They are made of thick material and pretty durable. The lid seal was easy to install and no issues getting the screws in. I did not use any of the fittings that came with the boxes so I cannot attest to the quality of those.

I've purchased several of these boxes to use for various raspberry pi zero projects and they work wonderfully. The included wire seals are excellent and they work great for either waterproofing your cables or taking the strain off whatever you mount inside the box. The seal seems to work great and although I haven't tested the waterproofing, they definitely make a huge difference in the sound coming from relays I've put in these things.

took quite a bit more time to get the silicon string installed in the recess around the lid's edge as thought it would. to get it in the narrow channel, I had to pull it pretty tight, leaving me with quite a bit of excess, causing me concern over the waterproofing since there's less material to make the seal.other than that, pretty great box. only additional complaint directed solely at myself for guessing at the actual size of my power supply, and not actually measuring it to ensure I had enough headroom in side the box. 🤦

I purchased this box for a DIFFERENT application than what it was designed to do. I used this to stub out the plumbing for a surface mount shower assembly. It was the perfect size for the application and it was easily adapted. As a waterproof electrical/electronic assembly box, it would be superb. The screws are stainless steel which will not rust, it has a silicone seal, and it comes with weathertight feed through cable bushings. This box is so versatile and durable. The thickness of the box walls and cover makes it very strong for a box of this type. It has a shiny appearance and the weight is light enough for mounting to a variety of surfaces. If you need a good weather tight box, you should really consider this box.

I bought this to consolidate the 120 vac wiring for the motor of a toy crane I picked up for my grandchildren. It had enough space for the motor capacitor as well as an e-stop switch and a C14 power entry receptacle. The flange made it easy to mount to the wooden base with wood screws. It also includes 4 cable entry sealing fittings, of which I only used one. I used double sided foam tape to mount the capacitor. It adhered well to the plastic box and the cap. I also ran a safety ground connection to the motor frame. the box includes a length of gasket to seal the lid. I wouldn't call it submersible, but probably rain proof (not that I intend to use it in that way).

It's great but it would be great if it had blanks so you could install the cable inlets. On top of needing a drill bit you will also need the tool to attach the cable ends once you stick them through the inlets(they won't fit if the ends are on them). Other than that it's a great sleek addition

I currently have this box buried in the middle of my yard as a connection box for my 24v yard lights and it works like a charm. Completely waterproof!
