I've been using this for my recent electrical DIY project, and it's been a solid choice. The material feels robust and dependable, which is exactly what I need when tackling home improvements. One thing I really like is how easy it is to work with. The five-hole design provides ample flexibility for different wiring configurations, making my task much simpler. It also has a clean, white finish that blends well with my home's interior, a small detail but one that adds a professional touch to the work. The only minor downside is that the paint can chip if you're not careful during installation. However, this is easily avoidable with a bit of caution. As someone who enjoys taking on DIY projects, I find this round box to be an excellent addition to my toolkit. It holds up well under various conditions and simplifies the wiring process significantly.

No complaints about the box, screw-in plugs are nice. The screws that come with it are only 1/2", designed for a thin, flat cover or metal bracket. Too short for a which otherwise fits and matches great. The screws that come with the lampholder are standard 8-32, too small. The screws for this box are 10-24 coarse thread, an unusual size for outlet boxes. You will need 3/4".Rather than spend more than the lampholder cost to get a pack of screws, I tapped two of the holes out to a larger size I had on hand.

Am renovating an old farmhouse and changing out the sets of flood lights they had that are very old for new LED units. Discovered the old lights only were mounted directly to the house and not to a box. The new lights require a mounting box so used these for the backing of the lights. My lights are all white so these blend in perfectly being white. They installed easily and are solid aluminum and sturdy. I am happy with the purchase.

This box has no cover, no screws to attach it to anything and the bolts they provided are not painted, also are to short! After finding the right size and painting them I still needed to find screws to attach it to the wall.

Didn't realize the flood lights I ordered weren't going to mount on a deck without a box, so I quickly settled on these.Pros:* Looks great, feels very sturdy.* No sharp edges, & White is way better looking than bare metal.* Great size, with plenty of room inside to store wires & wire-nuts.* Fit my fixture, & fits at least 2 fixture sizes, as there are 2 sets of screw sockets to choose from.* Easy to mount to outside wall, or deck. No need to cut a hole to recess it into. Yay!* Plenty of choices on how to feed the wire in, & out, if need be. 4 threaded side holes, & 1 Back hole, with 4 little screw in plugs to keep critters & the weather out, when not in use.Cons:* None for me, but if you need it to go into a recessed hole, this is probably not the one to choose. The mounting tabs will surely get in your way.You may think there's not much difference between one electrical box and another, but there really is. This one is very nice compared to all others I've used. (a Lot). That coating is way nicer to your hands, too. No sharp edges on mine. Thanks designers. : )
